[EXPIRED] MOTOROLA DEFY at 10143

Now no one is ever going to order mobiles from Indiaplaza after these type of dirty tactics.

I was so mad at missing this deal. Now i am happy that i missed it. There should be some regulation to stop such bloody practices.

Damn guys we feel so helpless in this situation. I think we should blacklist indiaplaza completely. I tried adding the management at indiaplaza on linked in so that i ge their mail IDs and tell them our plight, but no one seems to be accepting requests there….. Bloody born chors

Actually I didnt really understand much of it. Maybe u wanna message me to explain. I get some hint tht I am talking things I shouldn’t be talking about.

Listen guys… dont be so much angry.. Indiaplaza is not selling anything directly but through there vendors.. the orders are not cancelled by indiaplaza but their vendor so basically indiaplaza is not completely at fault… and why do a vendor will take 2 lakh rupee loss just because a 10000 rs employee at indiaplaza did a typo.. Indiaplaza has a very weak management incompetent to take any strong action against that vendor so all in all we all should not be so much angry when in the first place we all know it was just a typo.. and anyway indiaplaza has saved me and hundreds of others here thousandsof rupees in books through their gift certificates and anywayt every website is not like future bazaar who would ship a 50000 fridge in 5000 or a 16000 cam in 6000

Apart from their rubbish and uneducated customer care, now Indiaplaza seems not honoring their own deals ..
Eventually I got my 10k bucks stuck and its visible in my bill. Now I will have to pay my credit card bill and when they will return my money it will show up as credit in my credit card… so my 10k got stuck in credit card without any shopping which i will have to use anyhow even if i dont want to do online shopping anymore due to these morons.. .

Interesting thing is, they got out of stock without sending a single mobile….its not a case of low stock, or no stock , its a clear case of forgery (Forgery is the process of making, adapting, or imitating objects, statistics, or documents with the intent to deceive). We should all move to consumer forum. That’s the only way to keep these people from doing such activties in future. I am issuing a ticket in this regard to them…stating that such activity is intolerable.

Another interesting thing is that, even if they were out of stock , they relisted Motorola Defy the same day in evening with new price at the following link…http://www.indiaplaza.com/motorola-defy-mobiles... , which is showing out of stock today ..

hahahhaha very correct … DD is busy earning $ for each click why would they blacklist indiaplaza.. Only this defy thing might have earned them more than 10k bucks ..

1000 orders placed for defy at 10000 Rs each. Time taken to cancel orders = 7 days. Time taken for refund = upto one month. Indiaplaza total earning through interest= Around 40000 Rs.

It doesnt work that way. merchant can see the balance come into their account (not encashed) with the gateway. but like credit card cycles they have cycles where they can cash out that money. so am sure it was some days they sitting on your interest but not as long as envisaged above. And 1000 orders for a nights work, i doubt as well coz the offer was gone overnight. its a different thing india plaza should have honored the deal for their glitch. just a very mismanaged company. if it was overseas they would be dealt with severely by the bad business credit bureau. unfortunately we have nothing of that sort in india.

Shashank, note your payment date of the credit card and put pressure on Indiaplaza to refund it before that. Such a credit through reversal in the CC account after statement generation is counted as payment towards your dues. So in effect you need not pay this 10K and take it back as credit in your CC. But this clause is valid only till the due date and not after that.

these are new tactis these companies are following to make money quickly…. they put a costly item at very low price… in this example.. they must have sold around 100 units.. which give them around 10lk rs…. 10000*100 or even more.. all these money go to bank for short term interest.

money reversal would take up to 21 days.. they cancel the order n enjoy the interest..we need to be very careful

They relisted the item today, this time with 500 cash back.

My order was cancelled today afternoon as well without any prior notice. I am talking to them right now asking why they cancelled my order today if it has been relisted today only as in stock. The guy has put me on hold for 15 minutes now. I asked him to get mobile number/email of some higher authority. Lets see if he retrieves the call or not.

In the order , it says something around 15999 Rs. So, is there any possibility they will payback rs 15999 instead of rs 10000?

hahahahha 1000 orders… that’s a huge amount. I don’t think so. Except Desidime, Chorbaniya, techenclave…etc not much websites give such deals…so very few people know about such deals . Also time was very less around 10 hrs for DEFY thing to spread..
so I think may be around 100 orders might have been placed isnt it??

I have been discussing with the CC indiaplaza since they cancelled the order. But they keep saying they are out of stock and they were not able to arrange for it from alternate sources.. We need to keep discussing it with customer care.

So lets take up this challenge and negotitate with Indiaplaza guys for the injustice done to us…

I called CC yesterday and told them that Defy is available on their site now… he said the other order is cancelled and asked me to place a new order… so pathetic. I raised a ticket in this regard 6 days back and no response to that too.
I am planning to lodge a complaint against Indiaplaza in Consumer court. If someone else is also planning to do pls reply.

Did any of you get the money back….. The CC said that they need 1 week time to refund the money. 1week time is over and I still don’t have my money back….
