I never expected this from amazon.This is really a pathetic experience that you wouldn’t have heard.

Amazon instead of taking action against GATI giving lame excuses.Their CC is worst.I have been following up from yesterday.

Coming to the issue, I have 3 orders which are to be delivered by GATI

All my orders have to be shipped to my home town bhimavaram.I planned surprise for my parents…amazon spoiled it completely.I don’t why my orders are shipped to narasapur https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_evil.gif We have dtdc/fedex/bluedart/professional/firstflight couriers etc at bvrm.

I got response from amazon that orders will be delivered through local couriers from narasapur which I never heard!!!

I am pretty sure they are working the ticketing system . But the main concern is thay are not creating the support tickets as lazy Indians like us always like to bump it on others. with ticket comes deadline and they have to finish it within deadline.

If atleast GATI had office,we can collect our orders in our leisure time.But here there’s no office,no home delivery & in addition giving 1hr to collect orders ourselves is absolute rubbish.

Why the hell they are taking our orders & why is amazon supporting them?

It disheartens me too see so many dimers having issues with delivery.
At my location all orders fulfilled by Amazon were shipped through FEDEX and man they are really fast, plus Amazon’s packing is fabulous.
Hope they sort this mess and use trusted and reliable logistics partners.

Below is the copy of mail I sent to Amazon regarding this matter.

Comments:I will come straight to the point. Sir, what makes you ship our orders through the worst service of Gati courier ?  All the orders take not less than 10 days to deliver. When other courier services are available like delhivery, first flight, dtdc, Blazeflash, Overnight in my city, why do you ship through Gati ? 
I know it may be cheap for you. So you may try Speed cost. Even that is better than Gati. Please don’t give me such excuses as courier selection is based on location, availability and weight. You have been telling this to me since ages. 
I had to return Order  404-8483354-4033932 as it reached meafter 25 days 
This is not only my complaint. Below is the forum where people are fedup of Gati Couriers.

just cancel your order . Say to them that if you can ship through other courier then fine, otherwise give me refund . I will place through some other site who does not ship through Gati.
This is the only way to make them realize their mistake

I think they use flights.I can see GATI_ESS_AIR on the sticker they paste outside the package.

Most of the orders reaching metro cities in 24hrs.The pain starts from here.Delivery from metro city to last hub & then to shipping address takes days:shock:

I live in a non-metro city. Parcels just move from one place to another in Mumbai for 5-6 days , then go to Ahmedabad , then Delhi , then Noida and then my city. Other couriers which use flight sends directly from Mumbai to Delhi and then to my city.
Remember I am talking about the route and not the time taken for delivery .

I’m also talking about non-metro cities.They are using flight service only between state capital cities that too very rarely (based on the orders what I got till now) From capital city to your address everything comes by road.

People living in metro cities pls confirm in how many days you are getting your deliveries?

gati really sucks..
i had once ordered genius hdphone for 95/- on cod.. and gati updated its status as undelivered as payment not ready.. although the courier boy never called or came to my address..
on calling gati they said i should come to their branch office to pickup.. obviously i refused stating that thats what ur job is to deliver at doorstep.
on informing amazon they promised they would get it delivered in 24 hrs but then too it took a week to get delivered..
where as my 2 memory card order placed few days after the hdphone was delivered within 3-5 days by bluedart

Even I placed an order fr ‘Half Girlfriend’ which was Amazon Fulfilled as well. The order was shipped on 22nd Oct through Gati and is yet to be delivered.
On contacting Amazon Cc they say that v r personally following up on ur order nd it shall get delivered within next 48 hrs which hv already passed by and still no sign of my novel.

I have a question to amazon that If gati courier service does not delivers in my location then why are you shipping via gati?? when I was a new customer to amazon, the shipping was very convenient. But now all the time they ship my orders by gati. I have requested amazon a lot to please ship my order by India Post(which delivers perfectly in my location) but all the time they ship my order by gati. They say such a foolish reason that their system automatically selects a courier company. I am tired of contacting amazon for my issue. I am thinking that if this issue will not solve, then I could definitely say that i have to shop by another e-commerce website.:cry:
