the touch is very responsive , also used capacitive stylus and it worked fine
but in drawing and handwrite app its difficult to manage with finger or stylus

Typing a mail using the tab ? Was it easy to use the on screen keyboard ?
Plus if we compare the specs of Funbook vs Penta 701C, BSNL tab has a better battery (2800 vs 3000)
Any particular reasons for saying that the screen quality/resolution is average ?

yes you can easily type , but if you have smaller fingers then you can use stylus too
about the screen after removing the screen guard its looking better , they had applied cheapo screen guard on it
also funbook vs penta the specs are almost same but funbook is 1k costlier

Use the portable wifi hotspot feature on your phone.
Switch on WIFI on the tablet and enjoy the mobile 2G/3G internet

always knew about portable hotspot in my mobile, but tried it for first time after reading your post .my router’s wifi had blinded me from the possibilities of my phone.:-P

yes you can use skype but not tried video calling

the charger which I have received is faulty and gives electric shock so I called the cc and asked them about service center in mumbai , they told they don’t have in mumbai and asked me to go to one in thane . I blasted mailing that how can you keep service center in small tows and not in mumbai and all , they replied that we are sorry for inconvenience but 3 days later they called me and took my address and told me that they will send me a new charger next week. lets see if they deliver

the screen resolution is not very great rest all is nice
you can buy it from indiatimes fpr 4k if you have AMEX or else from ebay or shopclues for 4.5k

the resolution looks a bit bad while watching movies and infibeam is good too
