You can upgrade it, generally no downgrade happens in HDFC.

Hey guys I recently upgraded to vishesh banking program through bm
And I am not maintaining mab as I have put them in fd in au Bank at 8%
When are they probably gonna downgrade me?.
Will I be charged ?

They will upgrade you for free,but you have to maintain the criteria for the classic banking like mab,etc
I recently upgraded, when received call from RM told it was free and 0 MAB, they told it's 1 lac MAB.
This free thing feels like scam marketing, like they run in malls, "sir you have won free foreign trip/computer education but pay just ₹40000 etc'😂

You can proceed. At worst they'll downgrade you later. This is different from say SavingsMax account where you have to pay a penalty in case you don't maintain the MAB.
