All about mouth ulcer

Mouth ulcers can be a pain. One mouth ulcer can make eating an ordeal and speaking tough. And in some of us, they come in groups, all over the mouth and lips. There are times you wish you could just pluck them off and throw them away. It’s also when you have ulcers in the mouth that you want to eat everything in visible range and say so many things to people around you, neither of which is easy. At painful times like this, we wish we could understand the cause behind our ulcers, wish we could get immediate relief and wish they would not recur.
Mouth ulcers, or canker sores, also called aphthous ulcers are small sores in the mouth, usually on the tongue, the inside of lips and the inner lining of cheeks. Sores outside the mouth, on and around the lips are called cold sores and are caused by the Herpes virus. Apthouos ulcers, on the other hand, could occur for numerous reasons.

What causes mouth ulcers?
There is no single reason to explain the open sores inside your mouth. We take a look at the various things that can cause aphthous ulcers.
The most common cause of ulcers is trauma. Accidentally biting your tongue, wounds caused by sharp object (such as pens and other objects that some of us like to chew) and burning your tongue with excessively hot food or drinks all lead to sores inside the mouth. Sharp molar teeth with jagged edges, sometimes left that way after dental procedures also rub against the lateral side of the tongue and cause wounds there. A second of injury often leaves one with painful ulcers lasting up to a week or more.
Mouth ulcers can also be caused by dietary habits and deficiency of certain vitamins, most commonly vitamin B12 and Vitamin C. Deficiency of minerals such as zinc could also cause mouth ulcers. People who eat hot, spicy food and do not drink adequate water are also seen to develop frequent canker sores.
Some of us get recurrent mouth ulcers for no particular reason. While canker sores are not transmitted through food or saliva, it has been noticed that the problem can be a hereditary one, meaning if one our parents develop frequent mouth ulcers, chances are high that we might do the same. People with conditions affecting the immune system, such as HIV, also develop frequent aphthous ulcers.
Smoking cessation is also marked by frequent ulcers which may recur weeks or months after quitting. For someone who has just given up on smoking, this can be a rather annoying experience.
Stress seems to cause mouth ulcers, too. And though many refute or debate this, some amount of research suggests that one often tends to develop sores in the mouth at times of high stress when one is feeling run down. Some women also tend to develop ulcers before their menstrual periods, suggesting that the condition could have hormonal causes. Certain compounds such as Sodium Lauryl Sulfate that are present in toothpaste also seem to cause mouth ulcers.
As such, it is often hard to point to an exact cause of a single mouth ulcer.

Types of mouth ulcers
Yes, there are varieties to those painful sores, too. Minor aphthous ulcers are the most common ones that occur on the tongue, cheeks, gums or inner lips and usually go away in around a week’s time without leaving behind any scars. Major aphthous ulcers are larger ulcers, usually around 10mm, and take a longer time to heal. They can last for months altogether and can leave behind scars. Herpetiform ulcers are a conglomeration of multiple ulcers at a single spot on the tongue and usually heal in around a month.

Managing the sting
Irrespective of what their size it, all aphthous ulcers have one thing in common. They hurt. While we tolerate them the rest of the time, they are a nag while eating. The pain one has to withstand can entirely kill the desire to eat. Brushing becomes another difficult task. The ulcers, of course, will take their own sweet time to heal but there are certain things we can do to minimize the pain.
§ Over the counter medication is easy to find and mostly includes pastes, gels and liquids that coat the ulcers and numb the pain. Keeping ice in the mouth for sometime before eating can also numb the ulcer and minimize the sting. Non-alcoholic and anti-bacterial mouthwash help maintain oral hygiene and prevent secondary infection.
§ Avoid eating food that is spicy, hot, sour or excessively salty. They sting all the more, even if you have applied anesthetics.
Use a toothpaste that does not contain SLS (Sodium Laurel Sulfate). SLS is a foaming agent that is found in most toothpastes. However, there are a few herbal toothpaste brands in India that are SLS-free or have a lesser percentage of the chemical. Many tooth powders, too are SLS-free. Run through the list of
§ ingredients before picking up a brand.
§ Avoid eating food that can be painful on open wounds. Potato chips, nuts, wafers etc. are harder on your ulcers. Save them for days when your mouth is healthy and ulcer-free.
§ If your ulcers are being caused by regualr injuries by sharp teeth edges, dentures or braces, visit and dentist and try to resolve the problem.
§ Prevention, needless to say, is better than cure. If you are able to point to a particular reason for your ulcers, try avoid it to the maximum. Among people who have recurring ulcers, regular intake of vitamin supplements, such as vitamin B12 tablets, can reduce occurrence of mouth ulcers.
§
Very importantly, reduce stress. Feeling low and run down and troubling our brains a little too much will only result in painful tongues. Many of us by now are used to getting mouth ulcers frequently and we should strive to do whatever little we can do to reduce their frequency.

Hepatitis A,

formerly called infectious hepatitis, is an infectious viral disease that affects your liver. The main culprit responsible for causing this disease is the RNA virus, which usually spreads when you eat contaminated water or food, or get into direct contact with a person who is infected. The fecal-oral route is the path through which this virus spreads. The virus can be found in the blood of infected people a couple of weeks before the illness develops.
How do you get infectious hepatitis?
You can get affected by this disease if
You come in contact with the blood or stool of a person already affected by the disease.
You drink or eat water or food that has been contaminated by feces containing hepatitis A virus (vegetables, fruits, ice, shellfish, and water are common sources of the hepatitis A virus).
You get involved in sexual acts that include oral-anal contact.
An affected person doesn’t wash his/her hands properly after going to the bathroom and touches food or other objects.

The human body is made to walk. Â
Walking 30 minutes a day cuts the rate of people becoming diabetic by more than half and it cuts the risk of people over 60 becoming diabetic by almost 70 percent. Â
Walking cuts the risk of stroke by more than 25 percent. Â
Walking reduces hypertension. The body has over 100,000 miles of blood vessels. Those blood vessels are more supple and healthier when we walk. Â
Walking cuts the risk of cancer as well as diabetes and stroke. Â
Women who walk have a 20 percent lower likelihood of getting breast cancer and a 31 percent lower risk of getting colon cancer. Â
Women with breast cancer who walk regularly can reduce their recurrence rate and their mortality rate by over 50 percent. Â
The human body works better when we walk. The body resists diseases better when we walk, and the body heals faster when we walk. Â
We don’t have to walk a lot. Thirty minutes a day has a huge impact on our health. Â
Men who walk thirty minutes a day have a significantly lower level of prostate cancer. Men who walk regularly have a 60 percent lower risk of colon cancer. Â
For men with prostate cancer, studies have shown that walkers have a 46 percent lower mortality rate. Â
Walking also helps prevent depression, and people who walk regularly are more likely to see improvements in their depression. Â
In one study, people who walked and took medication scored twice as well in 30 days as the women who only took the medication. Another study showed that depressed people who walked regularly had a significantly higher level of not being depressed in a year compared to depressed people who did not walk. The body generates endorphins when we walk. Endorphins help us feel good. Â
Walking strengthens the heart. Walking strengthens bones.Â
Walking improves the circulatory system. Â
Walking generates positive neurochemicals. Healthy eating is important but dieting can trigger negative neurochemicals and can be hard to do. Â
Walking generates positive neurochemicals. People look forward to walking and enjoy walking. Â
And research shows that fit beats fat for many people. Walking half an hour a day has health benefits that exceed the benefits of losing 20 pounds. Â
When we walk every day, our bodies are healthier and stronger. A single 30 minute walk can reduce blood pressure by five points for over 20 hours. Â
Walking reduces the risk of blood clots in your legs. Â
People who walk regularly have much lower risk of deep vein thrombosis. Â
People who walk are less likely to catch colds, and when people get colds, walkers have a 46 percent shorter symptom time from their colds. Â
Walking improves the health of our blood, as well. Walking is a good boost of high density cholesterol and people with high levels of HDL are less likely to have heart attacks and stroke. Â
Walking significantly diminishes the risk of hip fracture and the need for gallstone surgery is 20 to 31 percent lower for walkers. Â
Walking is the right thing to do. The best news is that the 30 minutes doesn’t have to be done in one lump of time. Two 15 minute walks achieve the same goals. Three 10 minute walks achieve most of those goals. Â
We can walk 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes at night and achieve our walking goals. Â
Walking feels good. It helps the body heal. It keeps the body healthy. It improves our biological health, our physical health, our psychosocial health, and helps with our emotional health. Walking can literally add years entire years to your life.
Its good to walk.

Be good to yourself. Be good to your body.

Nutrition You Need As a Vegetarian!

If you’re a vegetarian, or just don’t like the taste of meat, it’s important to know to add certain nutritional values to your diet, or you may end up being malnurished in some way. So, to keep your body and mind healthy, check that your daily intake covers them all!

Calcium

Calcium, as you probably know, helps build bones and teeth (which are also bones) as well as helping the neurons in your body to transfer messages to the muscles. Fish are an excellent source of calcium, but if you’re vegetarians, you can get this essential mineral from dairy products, enriched soy products, nuts, legumes and green vegetables, broccoli, okra and cabbage.

Iodine

Iodine is essential for your metabolism, as in converting material into energy, as well as the normal functioning of the thyroid gland. It is usually found in sea fruit and so many vegetarians suffer a lack. Vegetarian sources include cooking salt, table salt and enriched dairy products.

Iron

The body requires iron to make hemoglobin which carries the oxygen in the blood stream. Red meat and poultry are a great source of iron, but if you are looking for vegetarian alternatives, you can get your iron from dried fruit, legumes, seeds, vegetables and whole wheat grains and flax seeds. Take into account that when you take these with coffee, tea or cacao, their absorption rate goes down because these products contains mixtures that block the absorption of iron. This is the reason why vegetarians are advised to consume iron with sources rich in vitamin C, such as oranges, peppers, strawberries and guavas, which markedly improve its absorption.

Omega 3

DHA and EPA are two type of the omega 3 fatty acid, and they are important to the development of both the eyes and the brain, as well as keeping your heart healthy and ticking. Omega 3 is mainly found in fatty fish, like salmon and tuna, but can also be consumed from vegetarian sources such as flax seeds, walnuts, canola oil, flax oil, soy oil and soy products. Some types of energy bars also have omega 3 in them.

Protein

Every cell in our body contains protein, and we need it in order to fix cell damage, build tissues, grow hair, fingernails and bones. Protein is in almost every food we eat, and so there’s a large variety of vegetarian sources: Soy, beans, bran, lentils, chickpeas, seeds, almonds and eggs to name a few.

Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 helps produce red blood cells and DNA, and is required for the neurological functioning of the body. It is found naturally in meat, but is also added to foods like soy milk and energy bars, and can also be found in eggs and various cheeses like yellow cheese, mozzarella cheese, pate cheese, cottage and eggs.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium and is important to bone health, as well as serving an important function in the nervous system, the muscle system and the immune system. The body makes vitamin D when the skin is exposed to the sun, but modern living as well as cloudy environments, don’t always allow enough exposure. Vegetarian sources for vitamin D include: Milk and enriched soy milk, certain mushrooms, banana and avocado.

Zinc

Zinc is extremely important if you want a functioning immune system and body cells. Although it can be found a-plenty in beef, you can also consume it from soy products, peanuts, hummus, pine nuts, walnuts, almonds, wheat germ, oatmeal and a variety of legumes, if in smaller concentrations.

First You Identify the Problem

Zig Ziglar

Many years ago James Baldwin stated (and I paraphrase him), “Confronting the problem does not always bring a solution, but until you confront a problem, there can be no solution.”

For years in America we’ve been talking about the drug problem and “winning the war on drugs,” yet we continue to lose the “war.” It’s true – drug usage temporarily declined, but recently the use of marijuana, heroin and LSD has substantially increased and teenage girls, especially, are taking up smoking in ever-increasing numbers. This is preparation for disaster.

I say this because virtually every destructive habit starts gradually, perhaps “innocently,” before escalating into something far more serious. Obesity, promiscuity, gambling, hard drug use, alcoholism, smoking, profane language, violence, etc., all begin casually or with no serious thought of where the habit will ultimately lead.

It is a well-known fact that in virtually every instance the person involved in hard core drugs started with either smoking or drinking. Drugs, including nicotine, have a dramatic effect on a young person’s brain chemistry. That effect, while satisfying at first, begins to cry for more, bigger, stronger, faster “fixes,” and the person gradually moves into the heavy stuff with tragic results.

The way to solve the cocaine, heroin and other hard drug problems is to solve the smoking and alcohol problems. Think about it: In 1994 cigarettes caused the premature deaths of over four hundred thousand people and alcohol caused the premature deaths of over a hundred fifty-thousand people. While it’s true that hard drugs generate a significant portion of crime, it’s also true that less than 50,000 lives are lost because of hard drug use.

The point is clear: Solve the smoking and drinking problems and we will save many lives, prevent innumerable broken hearts and homes, avoid considerable economic disaster and avert the crime problems which are associated with hard drugs. Become part of the solution and I’ll see you at the top!

SIX FREE DOCTORS:
Sunlight, Water, Air, Diet, Exercise & Rest
-———————————————————————————————-

Ever heard of SIX FREE DOCTORS, whose advice is most crucial to a healthy life style, but we do not pay any heed to it, as they do not charge visiting fees! Therefore their value is unimportant. These are :

1. SUNLIGHT: The sun says, spend a little time with me while reading, exercising, listening to music, meditating, even chatting up with friends – do it with me. Just you and me, cause I am your BEST friend. Physically and metaphorically Sunlight is beneficial to all. Giving light, its best, to everyone, regardless of caste or creed. It provides much needed Vitamin D.

2. WATER: 6-8 glasses of water in a day, replenishes all the liquids of the body. And H2O is oxygen to every cell in the body. Our body thrives on fresh water. It is the greatest detoxifying agent ever produced. And it is FREE!

3. AIR: Your Prana Shakti – Life breath. Just being aware of your breathing for a little while, invigorates every cell in the body. PRANAYAM (deep breathing) – is a must, to exhale all carbon and take in all oxygen, in a clean and open environment. It is a luxury today to breathe fresh air. Do not neglect this. Holding a breath and then releasing it, clears most of the diseases from the body.

4. DIET: After consuming 3 of the 5 natures elements (Ether, Water, Air, Earth & Fire**) get to the natures produce. Vegetables & fruits. The Lord has provided plenty of choice. No need to be a Vegan, but the amount of cleansing the vegetables and fruit does to the system is amazing! The enzymes thus produced protect every cell in the body. Proteins are present in lentils and yogurt too. Too much meat takes away 70% of the energy to digest it. So be moderate. We are basically herbivores and not carnivorous – by nature. ** More on 5 elements of nature – http://www.thelivingcentre.com/cms/earth/the-fi...

5. EXERCISE: How can anything be consumed without the corresponding arrangement to digest the same? The body must move. Walking can be a good form of exercise! But stretching the body is very essential. Starting from bed, when waking up and then being physically vibrant through the day. Household work is NOT an exercise, it’s a chore! Exercise in a proper state of mind and not under stress or duress. Relaxation is the reason for exercising a healthy state of mind. Exercise alone and not rushing! Last but not the least.

6. REST: None of the above is possible without enough sleep, relaxation and rest from meetings a deadline! Rest is the most important factor which gives impetus to all earlier 5! So do not neglect it. Resting with beautiful, positive and creative thoughts is of course always recommended. If you have negative thoughts, keep slogging, so you do not have the time to nurture them. When resting have all the positive thoughts, nourishing thoughts, the foremost being

-Thanks giving to the Lord, followed by love and compassion towards all the relationships you encounter choicelessness in love.

The age factor on your plate

The Mint

Careful attention to nutrient intake and physical activity plays a significant role in determining life expectancy and quality of life

Nourishment for a newborn as well as a senior citizen revolves around the adequate intake of three macronutrients—proteins, carbohydrates and fats. All of the nine essential amino acids, unrefined and high-fibre sources and essential omega fats must come from the diet. Essential nutrients are those that cannot be produced by the body and therefore must be obtained from food alone. The forms (of the nutrients) and required quantities differ according to age.

Careful attention to nutrient intake and physical activity plays a significant role in determining not just life expectancy but also the quality of life and absence of disease across the lifespan. For instance, recommendations for controlling the intake of foods that are high in saturated fats begin as early as the age of 2. The build-up of atherosclerotic plaque within the arteries can begin early in life, and it has been documented that infants and children whose diet lacks in healthy nutrition tend to follow similar habits as they age. Also parents who are obese and sedentary for the most part of their life indirectly influence their children to adopt unhealthy eating practices and become obese themselves.

It is important to note that energy needs, and therefore nutrition needs, vary in accordance with the growth phases that are affected by age and gender. These phases are broadly infancy and early childhood, followed by adolescence, adulthood and old age. For the most part, macronutrients (protein, carbohydrate and fats), as well as micronutrients (vitamins, minerals and antioxidants) are always required throughout the lifespan. However the emphasis on calories, specific nutrients and water intake might require special attention as you grow older.

An active one-year-old requires about 1,000 calories a day, because of an enhanced growth rate. A two-year-old, however, requires just 300 calories more, and by the age of 10, a child needs 2,000 calories per day. In other words, energy needs increase to some extent, but the energy need per kilogram of body weight declines with age. This means that a one-year-old needs 100 calories per kilogram of body weight and a three-year-old needs 81.5 calories per kilogram of body weight.

With adolescents, the growth spurt begins at the ages of 10 and 11 for females and 12 or 13 for males and lasts up to two years prior to puberty. For females, body fat percentage increases, and for males, conversely, the percentage of lean tissue increases. Energy needs depend on individual rates of growth, gender, body composition and activity. A 15-year-old boy who typically gains more muscle tissue than a 15-year-old girl would require to eat at least 4,000 calories per day while the girl just 2,000 calories. The RDI (recommended daily intake) for most vitamins increases during adolescence and is similar to those for adults. During puberty, the absorption of calcium and vitamin D increases to strengthen bone structure, and as such the nutrient needs for these increases during this phase. The need for iron also increases during adolescence. For girls, more iron is required to facilitate the menstrual cycle and for males, iron supports the growth of muscle and lean tissue.

For adults, the average energy needs decline by approximately 5% every decade. This is because activity levels reduce sharply and this in turn results in a loss of body mass. Adults would do well to eliminate calorie-dense foods especially after the age of 50, and this is why an important emphasis in adulthood lies in choosing nutrient-dense foods. Protein food sources must be lower in calories and high in protein quality. Lean poultry, egg whites, skimmed-milk paneer (cottage cheese) are important for adults. Unrefined, coarse and high-fibre carbohydrate foods like wholegrain and legumes are nutrient-dense choices. Limiting saturated fats is important to control blood cholesterol levels as is the adequate intake of vitamin D and 1,200mg of calcium per day, especially for women.

Older adults need to take care especially of their water intake as total body water and the thirst response decreases with old age. Deficiencies of vitamins B12 and iron that could occur typically in later years might need supplementation under the guidance of a physician.

What you sow in your teens, you reap in adulthood. Here’s what you need to know to beat infertility

Every year, between 15 and 20 million young couples across the world suffer from infertility, says the 2012 report of the International Institute of Population Sciences. Notwithstanding its ever-surging population, India too is witnessing a worrisome spike in infertility rates. Experts tell us that the seeds of infertility are sown in the teenage years; reasons range from a diet seeped in junk food to promiscuity. Here’s what you should be wary of to avoid infertility when your grows up.

Fat chance
Most teenagers, who like to indiscriminately indulge their taste buds and don’t bother piling on the kilos, should know that obesity is notorious for interfering with fertility in men and women. Dr Kaustubh Kulkarni, IVF specialist, states that women need body fat in order to have regular periods. “However, when a woman reaches a Body Mass Index of 29 or above, her fat deposits produce androgens — hormones that promote male traits. These hormones prevent embryo maturation in ovaries and contribute to anovulation (failure of ovulation),” he says.

In men, 10 kilos of weight gain is estimated to raise the chances of infertility by 10 per cent. “Obese men show reduced androgen levels accompanied by elevated oestrogen levels. Also, their testosterone levels can be up to 24 per cent lower than the normal range. These altered hormones may explain the increased risk of infertility,” adds Dr Kulkarni.

Junk jeopardy
Hogging on comfort junk fare at fast food chains have unfortunately become second nature for urban teens. The high-calorie burgers, colas, fried chicken and fries are rich in trans fats (which raise your bad cholesterol and lower your good cholesterol levels). Trans fats affect fertility in young men and women which actually starts showing up only in adulthood.

Dr Kulkarni gets several cases of women in their 20s suffering from Polycystic Ovary Disease (PCOD) — a condition associated with malfunctioning of ovaries. “Had most of these women exercised restraint on their eating habits in their teens, they may have been able to avert PCOD,” he says. Trans fats in fast foods also aggravate the production of leptin — a hormone that regulates metabolism and energy expenditure — in women. Increased leptin levels disrupt the ovarian cycle, which leads to PCOD.

In men, trans fats make the body resistant to insulin. This shoots up blood sugar levels, accelerating the natural process of cell death and damage of the sperm DNA. Trans fats can also lower sperm motility and reduce sperm counts by 38 per cent. However, getting more omega-3 fatty acids (from seafood and nuts) means higher sperm counts.

Choose right
Curiosity often gets the better of teenagers — which may even mean unprotected sex. When that leads to unwanted pregnancies, many feel hesitant to opt for an abortion. Dr Nikita Lad, IVF expert at S L Raheja Hospital, says, “Instead, some may opt for an unprofessional place, where they may not maintain hygiene, and cause injuries like uterine perforations, cervical lacerations and internal wounds. This may cause infertility over time.”

Crash diets
Teen girls aspiring to achieve size zero figures sported by their favourite Bollywood heroine or Hollywood hottie, get habituated to an unhealthy diet. However, if the woman’s weight falls under 45 kilos, she may stop ovulating. This happens because hypothalamus — which functions as a type of thermostat for the body — fails to tell the pituitary gland to produce embryos. Once the link between them is broken, it may take years before it is established again.

For boys, when the body is devoid of nutrients like zinc, good fats like Omega 3s and vitamins C, E and D, it affects the quality of sperm and libido, and can also lead to infertility.

Tight inner wear
The temperature of the testicles is supposed to be one-and-a-half degrees lower than normal body temperature. “That is the ideal temperature for sperm to survive,” says Dr Rajan Bhonsle, professor and HOD of sexual medicine at KEM Hospital. “Youngsters, who wear tight undergarments through the day and sleep wearing them, risk raising the temperature of their scrotum, damaging sperm.”

Also, regularly taking hot water baths or hitting the sauna has adverse effects on sperm health.

Play safe
STDs such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, herpes, syphilis and others are responsible for roughly onefourth of infertility cases in teens.

Dr Lad says, “STDs do not directly cause infertility. However, they can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), an infection of the uterus, fallopian tubes, or other reproductive organs in women. PID results in scarring of the fallopian tubes, which makes it difficult for eggs to move through them, thereby causing conception problems.”

In men, STDs cause urethral strictures or may damage, infect and block the sperm duct leading to infertility.

HOW TO EAT FRUITS? 🍏🍇🍒🌽🍑🍌🍍🍐🍋

We all think eating fruits means just

buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths. It’s not as easy as you think.
It’s

important to know how and when to eat.

DON’T EAT FRUIT AFTER MEALS!

FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN

EMPTY STOMACH.

It will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying a great deal of energy

for weight loss and other life activities.

FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD. Let’s say you eat two

slices of bread and then a slice of fruit. The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the

stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so.

In the meantime the whole meal rots

and ferments and turns to acid. The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the

stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil….

Eat fruit on an empty

stomach or before meals! People complain, "Every time I eat watermelon I burp; when I eat apples, my

stomach bloats up; when I eat a banana🍌 I feel like running to the toilet, etc ” This will not arise if

you eat the fruit on an empty stomach. Fruit mixes with the putrefying other food and produces

gas, hence you will bloat!

Grey hair, balding, nervous outburst, and dark circles under eyes will

NOT happen by taking fruit on an empty stomach.

There is no such thing as some fruits, like orange

and lemon 🍋are acidic, because all fruits become alkaline in our body, according to Dr. Herbert

Shelton who did research on this matter. Master the correct way of eating fruits, and you will

have beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness and normal weight.

Drink only fresh fruit juice,🍹

NOT from the cans. Don’t even drink juice that has been heated up. Don’t eat cooked fruits because

you don’t get the nutrients at all. Cooking destroys all the vitamins.

Eating a whole fruit is

better than drinking the juice. If you should drink the juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful

slowly, because you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it. You can go on a 3-day

fruit fast to cleanse your body. Just eat fruits and drink fruit juice throughout the 3 days and

you will be surprised when your friends tell you how radiant you look!

KIWI: 🍈A good source of

potassium, magnesium, vitamin E & fiber. Its vitamin C content is twice that of an orange.

APPLE:

Although an apple has a low vitamin C content, it has antioxidants & flavonoids which enhances

the activity of vitamin C thereby helping to lower risks of colon cancer, heart attack & stroke.

STRAWBERRY: .. have the highest total antioxidant power among major fruits & protect from

cancer-causing, blood vessel-clogging free radicals.

ORANGE : Taking 2-4 oranges a day may help

keep colds away, lower cholesterol, prevent & dissolve kidney stones as well as lessening the risk of

colon cancer.

WATERMELON: Composed of 92% water, it is also packed with a giant dose of

glutathione, which helps boost our immune system. A key source of lycopene the cancer fighting

oxidant. Other nutrients found in watermelon are vitamin C & Potassium.

GUAVA & PAPAYA: 🍈 for

their high vitamin C content. Guava is also rich in fiber, which helps prevent constipation. Papaya

is rich in carotene; good for your eyes.

Drinking Cold water after meals = Cancer!

It will solidify

the oily stuff you have just consumed and slow down digestion… Once this ‘sludge’ reacts with the

acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the

intestine. This will turn into fats and lead to cancer. Better to drink hot soup or warm water

after a meal.

SAVING FROM HEART ATTACK PROCEDURE’:

Not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm

hurting. Be aware of pain in the jaw line. You may never have chest pain during a heart attack.

Nausea and intense sweating are common symptoms. Sixty percent who have an attack while asleep

do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can awaken you.
