Shipped yesterday from Delhi and got it this morning in Hyderabad! InfiBeam.com rocks !!
The camera comes with the following 4GB memory card:
Awesome mate!!! Cool video. I have a 32gig card that I got from the Koovs deal but no camera to use it on . My current Sony digicam has a proprietary M2 mem card (paltry 1 gig) and won’t support this card in its slot.
Waise I assume this must be one of your costliest purchases online, isn’t it?

Yes, it’s a comprehensive user’s manual!
Not getting the time to shoot the things I’d like to. Have a long way to go to learn this art!

Nikon D7000 with AF-S 18-105mm VR Lens Kit + 4GB+ Bag for Rs. 66990
http://www.yebhi.com/61696/PD/Nikon----DSLR-Cam...
last week they gave a flat 10% off code… with that coupon the prices could easily hav been the lowest!!
neo bro,
The day came today to grab the Nikon D7000 + lens for 60,291 with Yebhi’s 10% off coupon.
Kind of late by 12 days but I can’t cry over it now Rs.3699 cheaper than my deal!
Guys grab it today :
InfiBeam.com’s Magic Box did cause impulsive buying since I had had enough of deal hunting at that time. But I still managed to get my deal in the said range of 60-64k.
Storage
I ordered four 8GB & two 4GB Class 6 Strontium SD cards from SnakeDeal all for Rs.995 using their Diwali coupons and deal credits! Though I have not got a single one till now, waiting for them to be delivered.
That is 40 GB of Class 6 SD card storage for 1000 bucks.
Storage Case
Also bought a Vanguard 12 SD Card Holder for 454 from BTP to carry these cards safely:
http://www.desidime.com/forums/hot-deals-online...
Received my storage!
2×8GB Class 10 SD Cards
3×8GB Class 6 SD Cards
4×4GB Class 6 SD Cards
That is 56GB in total & guess how much I paid for this?
Rs.1260 only! Thanks to SnakeDeal!
@ kage01
do u feel any difference in performance when using the class 6 and class 10 cards?

I have not yet tried anything above the Lexar 4GB Class 4 card that came with my camera:
It simply rocks! I have shot Full HD video without any noticeable issues. I shoot large RAW (22Mb)+Fine JPEG (10Mb) files simultaneously and have shot 6 frames per second on this card!
So I feel the whole debate about high speed cards is vastly over-rated.
I will test run the Class 6 and Class 10 cards and post my finding in this thread in future. I don’t feel the need to use the Class 6 cards as of now because I am getting the best speed my camera can offer with a class 4 card.
But I think the buffer will improve if a use a higher class card. The buffer size is 10 and in Continuous shooting mode, it takes time to write to the card. If I use a card with better writing speed, then my buffer will free up faster and I can continue shooting sports or action scenes.
@ kage01
congrats kage bro, this is the thread with the most number of posts in deals baba section!! next comes Qwerty ’s thread for Canon EOS 550D

thanks bhai. It gives me an opportunity to learn a bit too.
im sure u hav a lot to learn with that encyclopedia… oops, i meant user manual!!
Had bought an Infra Red remote for Nikon D7000 from ebay.in for 549 (after using 100 off cash coupon)
Search for item number 170717143403 on eBay.in for more details regarding the product.
I received a defective product so had to get it replaced from seller by paying Rs.80 courier charges The seller is rajelectroniks He promised to refund the courier charges but I just got a remote without any cash as promised. I’m happy at-least this remote works!
Better to talk to seller about returns policy before placing an order on eBay! Most of the time, the buyer has to pay the courier charges if returns are needed.
