ordered phone from paytm,got detergent powder instead

so i ordered an htc through paytm,seller is brite sales private limited
received package today and when opened found washing detergent soap (ghadi powder soap )inside it.
called Paytm right away and now they say to wait for 72 hours and i shall receive a call from the concerned department
also the first time i called from my number and they seemed to have blocked it as i tried calling second time it got stuck on ivr and keep on saying please wait please wait
I ordered phone for my sister and now everyone look panicked
what should i do ???

dont know who’s responsible and what’s going to happen
Seller is genuine. Have bought from him in the past. I think the local courier guys are to blame for this. Was the package “damaged” / “torn” in any manner ?

if we look at this from a above one of three parties is guilty ( customer,seller,delivery boy/service)
also i don’t want to get stuck in between this matter,also if paytm would have told me/us before to make unboxing video or any other thing we would have followed that ,now i don’t blame paytm or anybody but at the same time why would i pay the plenty if there’s a loop hole in the whole process
this is the point which i am going to put forward, but i gotta feeling that this will be a one hell of experience.
Kaash ki amazon sai order kiya hota toh yeh na dekhna padta ,cashback k chakar mai pure cash ki back lag gayi.

i got panicked and as i said i ordered phone for my sister and due to miss communication i though that it was detergent powder untill i saw the pic.
Also i know money is earned by hardwork ,paytm,seller all are doing hard work to earn andi respect that but i wont be cheating for 7k rs ,yeah i may order product’s under loot or price error or even under heavy discount but cheating no ,that’s wrong and that’s why i made this thread.

thats why i dont trust paytm.
i generally purchase from amazon and from amazon also only amazon fulfilled products so that i can get a piece of mind.
For costly product try not to consider paytm
but still if u buy better to record the unboxing of the product.

if not, then make a call at paytm helpline from any other number.

my hometown is Ambala Harayana,but my father being in IAF we moved around through out my childhood i.e Tamil Nadu,Assam,j&k,Gujarat and Ghorakhpur,UP
