Paid Rs 2560 bill in wrong airtel postpaid numner. Anything can be done now?

I mistakenly made bill payment of 2560 in another airtel number instead of mine.
It was one digit tying error. Paid from ola money via Fastticket.
Fastticket support saying nothing can be done for postpaid.
Airtel phone CC is clueless. Mailed them, no response yet.
Called person whose number I paid, he is supportive and ready to help.
I’m unable to find info in this regard on Google.
If anyone having knowledge can guide or help, will be really grateful.

Ask him to pay your bill of amount 2560… simple…! If his bill was less than 2560, then it will be -ved in his next bill, I don’t see a problem here…
His monthly bill is around 100, it is his secondary number. It will take 2 years for this bill amount!If nothing else work out, will request him as last option.
Ask him to talk to Airtel customer care and tell them payment was done wrongly and ask them to refund the money. They will do it. it may take a while like 15 days to get a cheque on his name.

Once happened to me
By mistake a recharged a docomo prepaid number for rs 200..the guy refused to help nd ended the call..then i called docomo cc and the reverted the transaction after some info..nd i was like #thuglife

Even, I heard the same from my friend. Wrongly got recharge on vodafone sim. He thought it was giveaway by the company , later the balance got subtracted & his main balance went in negative
2 days back i transferred 100/- to wrong number in FreeCharge chat n pay… when asked FC CC guys in twitter they refused to revert back.. called to that guy and asked him to send back to my account.. he did immediately

service provider have option to reverse the transaction if the amount is more than 100. Varies to service provider, but still 2.5k is a huge amount, you definitely get it back, avoid talking to cc & wasting your time, instead go for twitter or mail their nodal officer for quicker response.

Well this scenario brought a set of memories in my mind. I still remember the time when one loot was going on in early 2013. The so called “Goibibo Mobikwik Loot”. I am sure every old Dimer knows about it. Almost all of the transactions were reversed by the operators which were made during this loot.
UPDATE: Yesterday, Airtel transferred payment to my number.
Airtel ask for proof to verify that transaction is done by you.
They do have facility of balance transfer for postpaid. Prepaid transactions can’t be reverted by recharge partner themselves.

I also wrongly paid 1217 to some other number. I called that number but could not contact them. Airtel customer care is only giving my complaint numbers and doing nothing. It seems that number is corporate account number but since it is Airtel number they should resolve. They are just least interested.
I’m waiting till 05-05 for update on balance transfer request placed by Airtel CC. If result is negative, will call nodal/appleat authority.
