Past fewdays the amount of spam is increased in deals section. For example check the below screenshot. item: Aircooler but numerous posts are created for each aircooler. instead could have posted a single deal with all links.
If there is no stop for this then it is hard to follow DD for deals.
suggestions to get it sorted.
1. Limit Number of posts based on ranks (like 2 for newbies, 5 for deal cadet etc)
2. Moderators should be given some permission/sort of to increase the above mentioned limits if the deals posted by newbies are good and are value adding to the DD members.
3. currently the deal heading is being checked before posting (like keywords are identifed to stop from posting) but a new system is needed like (check for keyword with ecommerce site and number of deals posted. suppose if it is about Airconditioner then check the airconditioner deals posted in last 2-3 hours. if there are more than 5 {say a Limit} then a warning to the deal posting person to check other posts before posting again.
Note: No personal hatred towards anyone but some hard changes are required to make this DD community better.
Your point is valid. But I would like to make some additions -
1) some Dimers every deal or not a l00t deal is promoted to high hotness , how ?
2) targeted downvotes of deals, we can't see if someone downvotes but admins can. I think many misuse this feature.
3) selective rules for some, no rules for others [ just an observation]

When DD gets nothing why do the posters get Dimes through the posts which are not beneficial to DD and Dimers

I Disagree to post limitations as that would result to users creating fake ids/Multiple Ids for posting.
Which would be another headache for the administration team to follow up and find multiple accounts
its currently not allowed to create multiple accounts, but still there are many who are doing the same & once post limitations is applied then it would be more worse
The site has crazy algorithm to promote deals. Go to Commented section, you will see deals which has zero comments. You will find new deals in Hot section 
The new deal is considered a comment, and for the hot deal section, it is promoted by admins.
FYI, there are such rules in existence where a dimer found to be spamming in deal section(posting regular deals too much), they'll get warning, subsequent warnings, moderation, temporary suspension and then finally permanent suspension. Few have been suspended as well for that. [fun fact: our beloved bot dimer get blocked by system for posting so many deals in short period of time]

today will be price reveal of smartphones for upcoming sale, so.. you might see 20+ deals back to back.. you/we may feel it's spam but according to poster's POV if deal is lowest/similar to previous lowest price, it's not..

AC 1.5 ton 3 and AC 1.5 ton 5 in one
or lg/voltas/so on 1.5 ton 3 Star and lg 1.5 3 Star in one
but the technical aspects arises here..
if a poster posts two deals, they'll get more visibility (probably more credits)
however, ¹clubbing doesn't guarantee that a/c to poster.. but my POV says clubbing (sometimes) gives better reach and visibility

you/we can't enforce as written rule as it'll be lead to chaos.. however, collective consensus will make this community better.. sometimes, peace (own mindset) is better than war (invoking rules).. so, if we see(feel) that spamming, we should first check them in personal inbox.. if they're open to suggestions, they'll improve for the community.. if not, check with guards.

1. Limit can't be set on rank level as it'll be partial in nature as suggested by you.. cz who knows their potential.. limit at entry level will kill their aspirations.. how will they learn! I wake up and decided to post lowest/great/steal/l00t but then went to sleep as limit has been introduced (neobabies deys) [community looses those deals]
2. as said DD not authority driven, but community driven (democratically) , we are free to use ²rights within professional conduct and perform ³duties (improving, guiding, even scolding)
¹3. traffic generation? clickouts? buyouts? due credits? due hotness? recognition? we have to ponder these questions as well

Clarification: No such efforts were made by OP.
I believe in a community platform we all can learn and understand each other by communicating.
Facility must be utilised at optimum level.
I am always open for suggestions for betterment and improvement of community and self. Atleast give a chance to improve before taking it publically and quoting with screenshots which clearly point outs one person.
For next time just remember, I responsibly care for community platform as a whole. And you can always count on me.

If you observe someone's activities its quite easy to identify multiple accounts and their activities
I used to post deals on DD few years back and one dimer used to post individual deals with zero value addition.
If I posted a master deals thread having televisions, he will shamelessly post 10 deals from it and the deals were promoted on front page. I could see multiple associated accounts but mods were least interested back then 😕
