Last time i checked my CIBIL score, i was surprised by the amount of data CIBIL maintains. where can i see my cibil score free ?

my sbi card rejected because of low cibil score. cry

It is not free. You have to pay for getting score

how much it will cost ?

can i improve my score for giving money ??

I think I noticed some credit counseling services after moving back to India. You can pay them to guide you to improve your score. Moreover, there is tons of general information available just a Google search away. As @soccergiants suggested, first pay Rs.500 to get your CIBIL score/report. Read the negative factors, then search online for how to improve on those factors. https://www.cibil.com/online/credit-score-ch...do

All the best!

By the way, take your credit report/score very seriously. In the US, everything from your loan eligibility, loan interest rate, car/house insurance premium rates, to even your apartment rent and security deposit is calculated based on your credit report/score. Based on my experience, all of the financial practices are slowly, but surely, getting imported and implemented in India. So it’s only a matter of time before somebody’s credit score/report is treated as the all important factor for determining someone’s financial standing. Now with the implementation of Aadhar (India’s equivalent of the social security number (SSN) in the US), this change will be accelerated.

CIBIL shares these records with banks for minimal transaction fees. So ITD can also have access to these. Just PAN Card is enough to link all these. https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif

Bro, his advice remains good regardless of the tenure for the loan. If, however, you want a “quicker” jump in your credit score, first get your credit report using the link I provided and then contact me privately.

Note to others: This is a one-off offer only for @dd2014; please don’t PM me with your credit troubles.

CIBIL score also goes down when you get too many credit enquiries from banks. For example, last year i was applying for a airline credit card. I spoke to a few banks and all of them enquired with CIBIL resulting in my score dipping by almost 50 points. CIBIL also depends on the ratio of secure loan and un secure loan. Too many unsecured loan also brings down the CIBIL Score. A secure loan like home , auto loan is a good way to up your CIBIlL score.

I will explain you everybody again, how beautiful this method is.
Assume, everybody knows that there is a 2.5 % charge on cash withdrawal from credit card in ATM. Suppose you withdraw 3000/- Rs. from ATM, it attracts following charges. 2.5 % of 3000 ie 75/- + 13 % tax, edu cess ie. 9.75/- total approxx 85/- Rs. additional charges for cash withdrawal of 3000/- Rs. from ATM. Multiply by 12. So comes to Rs. 1020 /- in a year. So, if this CITRUS CASH free withdrawl of 3000 continues for even a year, you enjoy freedom of Rs. 1020/-
Now imagine what can you do with this FREE LOAN of Rs. 3000/- withdrawn from Citrus cash every month. Either start a SIP in Mutual fund of Rs. 3000/- every month or invest id Recurring deposit every month. Considering interest of minimum 10% p.a., you get a cumulative amount of about Rs. 39737/- at the end of 1 year. Mutual fund sip may fetch higher returns.
Now coming to total savings. Rs. 9737/- from your RD interest of 1 year + Rs. 1020/- from your FREE LOAN from credit card every month. Total savings = 10759/- Rs.
So, finally an effortless income of Rs. 10759/- with the advantage of FREE BORROWING OF MONEY FROM CREDIT CARD.

use those amex cards to buy axis on amazon
you can use axis cards anywhere outside.
worst case scenario, some shopkeeper should be able to deduct 2-3% and give you cash
