Where to in invest when gold prices are sky rocketing

GOLD PRICES are rising day by day, where should I invest, in SGB or Physical gold or anywhere else ? Please suggest

if you are in for long term buy SGB when its out. Its sold at a discount of 50/unit and you also get 2.5 interest annually. If you hold it for full term it is tax free and also instills investment discipline. Physical gold is a big "NO" for me. SGB is safe and secure. See my holdings to encourage you. Note that it is always traded below the current gold rate. So selling is not advisable.

current price per gram approx 7k. total value 404x7k =2828000 approx .invested 2018836

Wow almost 20 lacs. Awesome, you are a wealthy guy. But sadly, that was the worst period for gold. It didn't gain much untill now. 

You will see the return from 2020-21 are lowest even in my case.

my sgb looks like this.

 gold returns are around 14% and mf investment are at around 21% for my portfolio good returns from both debt and equity. I did not buy in demat format because this is an investment not quick money making bet.
