Karnataka State Govt is providing LED bulbs at nominal price of Rs.80 (current price, earlier it was Rs.100) You can buy them from the nearby BESCOM office and as of now there is no restriction for purchase limit of bulbs per person. Please carry your BESCOM electricity bill with you.

ohh Karnataka State Govt has nothing to do with LED Bulb Scheme ( they oppose this last year ) after seeing huge success of the scheme in non congress govern state they singed MoU with Power Ministry for LED bulb scheme of Govt of India
and BTW IN THIS SCHEME GOI in getting bulb at around 48 rs and redistributing it at rs 93 reduced to rs 80
First ever GOI scheme were govt stand to earn
Please do buy this u r power consumption of lighting will reduce drastically

I think I saw in some other thread under DELP scheme govt is offering LED for Rs99 with 3yrs warranty (Max bulbs per home is 10)
Now here in Andhra Pradesh when I enquired at electricity office they said no such offer from govt

I already took those Rs20 bulbs & using them…Not sure if they are sponsored by AP govt / Central govt.

Is it possible for others to steal the bills from the box and claim the bulbs since last month’s bills was being stolen as the meter reading person had just kept inside the box and not closed it.
