Planning to buy AC : Suggestion Needed

You haven’t mentioned your location. Considering 8+ hrs usage, you should strike out 3* option.

If your use will be 8hrs per day throughout the year then you should definitely go for inverter ac as it will definitely help to save on bills.

If it’s restricted to only summer months then 3 star should suffice. You can get good 1.5 ton 3 star ac’s online for around 26-30k.

Except for special offers like lightning deals, there is not much difference in prices.

My location is kolkata. I may use 6-7 months a year, 8 hours a day.

If budget is not a problem then go for inverter ac. Hitachi, Panasonic, Daikin blu star are good. Service depends on area as well so you can ask your friends who stay nearby.

From what I read at many places, I got to know that voltas is having lesser life span compared to brands like Hitachi, o general etc. Daikin and Mitsubishi also there, which are premium brands. Heard o general’s outer body best designed to last long if you are using it in area with high moisture.
