AU Bank has launched a new LTF credit Card – AU Lit
Card has no joining or annual fees.
Reward Rate is interesting as you can pay to get the reward rate you want on the card.
Reward structure is as follows:
1Rp = Rs 0.25
Base Reward Rate(Free) : 1 Rp per 100 Spent
- 10x Rewards : 10 Rp per 100 spent chargeable at 299+gst for 90 days(Has to be purchased separately for offline and online transactions)
- 5x Rewards : 5 Rp per 100 spent chargeable at 199+gst for 90 days(Has to be purchased separately for offline and online transactions)
Cashback features are also available on this card which offer 5%/2% cashback over and above the Reward points accumulation on meeting certain spends criteria in a month (Also a chargeable feature i suppose).
5% cashback is available in 2 ways:
Category wise and General spends.
- 5% cashback category wise can be bought for categories like dining , travel , grocery etc for Rs.299/90days with no limit on number of transactions in that category.
Max Cashback in 30 days : Rs.1000(3,000 for 90 days)
- 5% Cashback number of transactions wise is also available for Rs.299/90 days and allows transactions of any category to be eligible for 5% cashback.
Max Cashback in 30 days : Rs.500(Rs.1,500 for 90 days effectively)
- 2% Cashback number of categories wise is available for Rs.199/90 days and allows transactions of any category to be eligible for 2% cashback.
Max Cashback in 30 days: Rs.1,500(Rs.4,500 for 90 days effectively)
Cashback earned is automatically adjusted against the dues on the Card.
Multiple cashback and accelerated Rp features can be enabled at once by paying the respective charges which can bring the net reward rate up to 10% or more as per current info.(Assumption)
Non retail transactions such as fuel , cash withdrawals , rent payments and payments to political institutions etc are not considered for rewards.
Memberships are not free , but paid.

Has anyone tried activating offline pack of 299 or 199. Does it work in all offline locations like Malls, hospitals etc.

2. 2nd question is I want to apply for this card. If Salaried, Will they do Office and Job Verification ? I also have AU Royale account. In case, If applied as Self Employed, what kind of Verification and documentation is asked ?
I think for first case you need to wait now. If you reapply before 6 months then it will be instantly rejected. In second case I applied as self employed too. No documents were asked but did residential place verification and work verification twice - once by AU bank and other time by a third party. All three times they just took photos of the place along with me.
No need to be present.

Today got call from Video Banking Team
They said that I am pre-Approved for AU Lit LTF card without physical verification and CIBIL hard Hit with upto 60K limit.
Can I Trust them?

If they don't serve your pincode the you won't be able to submit application (± cibil hit). U can give other serviceable pin but they'll ask for address proof..

Applied for this card w.r.t. ICICI Apay card. Showed limit of 7.xx lakh for AU LTF.
Thereafter, did the usual video KYC formality which went through.
Finally a verification guy came to visit my office. Called me from the gate, verified a few details but didnt come inside the office (mine is a sarkari office and I could see the guy in front of the main gate from my office window).
But, thereafter, everything went silent. No update if the card got approved or not.
Any way to know approval/rejection status?

i activated 10x offline spends and 5% milestone offers. When will they credit the regular rp and accelerated rp? and when total txns amount show in 5% milestone feature?
5% Milestone (500 rs) will be credited in 1 or 2 days after the completion of every 30 days.
