So 1500/2500 for Box. But I’m sure there must be installation charges too. Splicing of fiber cable is expensive.

Using since July 2019. No installation charge but paid INR 2500 as so called refundable. Writing so called as many people in my society decided not to with it when it became paid in January 2020, they are yet to get refund. Service is much better than others, I use 699 plan and get decent speed, though it is not 100MBPS for sure, upload speed is even worse. I do not see any thing new in this plan except new 399 plan at a much lower speed. What they mean by unlimited is yet to be seen as I am sure there will be a fair usage policy which will make sure nothing changes in curent plan and all this is just a marketing gimmick…
anyone got upgraded to latest plan? also Jio call is working for u? it stopped working for me from past month
Tried Act which was ok and recently shifted to Excitel, satisfied. Connection took 4days and download speed is showing 95 but getting at least 50mbps most of the time, highlight is upload speed which is better than download. 2k for refundable deposit (router, 4 antena) and 2k for 3 months for truly unlimited 100mbps plan.
consitency of speed is good. but
customer care service is just pathetic. It never connect call to CC.
Hope aritel will reduce tariff now. Airtel customer care is very good.

I can assure that it wouldn’t be that bad , infact might be opposite because of lower user density.
Conventional copper wire based electronic signal transmission has many draw backs and limitations that fibre optic don’t have. And they require less maintanence.
So I would recommend you to try.

No. Not exactly, all areas under a same pincodes might not have Jio Fiber service.

Or use Myjio app … top left corner button, then select Jio Fiber.
Enter your phone number, OTP, and then pincode, write your address … select your exact locality from the list. That might have a “Jio Fiber ” logo beside it. Then It means your locality definitely has Jio fibre service. Otherwise you have to submit details and wait for the Jio Fiber team to contact contact you. Hope this helps.

Refundable security deposit means what? You have to pay security deposit which is refunded after you disconnect the connection… They need security deposit against the 4K setup box and router… Which is ok…

I paid 4500 security deposit and used free for 1 year. They refunded the amount in 15 days. Now they ask 1500 deposit in chennai.
Is there any option to downgrade to 399 plan from already recharged old plan?

Are they asking for this deposit at time of booking or at installation. At my place we don;t have Jio Fiber, I want to put in the request so that they understand volume form our area and setup there. But people will not mass register if it asks for money upfront.
At the time of installation
Bronze, silver and gold plans are not available under quarterly, half yearly and annual recharge so can’t trust jio as they will remove the new plans whenever they want
I booked and paid 2500 in Hyderabad. When I checked the receipt in mail, it shows 1000 as installation fee and 1500 as security deposit. Are they messed up with old one?

For your kind info just go to google and search for jiofiber refund and check the review of users its not easy to get the refund and not everyone is capable to pay 2500 in starting, free means you are getting that thing without any hassle in this scenario its like you are getting a cashback which you can avail after disconnection.Seriously dude believe me its just there tactics so please dont mislead people.

I have bought a connection of Jio Fiber on 30th August, just a day before these new offers. My current plan is 899/month(1002rs) for 1 month. Can anyone please calrify on below points:
1) Can I recharge jio fiber connection apart from Jio Website or my jio app, so as to avail additional recharge offers, if applicable elsewhere.
2) To watch TV, I have to use Jio TV+ instead of Jio live TV; channels are limited in Jio TV+ and UI is very bad. When I try to open Jio live TV it says it will be enabled by your operator, hence Unable to use this. My questions are: Is everyone else too unable to use Jio live Tv, if yes how are they coping with this limited service and bad UI.
3) In the front page I can see: Customers enrolled b/w 15 and 31st will get 1 month extra coupon in their MY Jio App. I have neither received any sms nor it is showing any coupon in my app. How to get this 1 month extra voucher?
