Lappy can be connected using wifi only. That usb port is for connecting external hard disks or pen drives.
what’s the total weight of that device? can be guessed a bit whether HDD is there or not!

yes.. one simple thing.. if he can check .. download the driver and connect it through USB cable to identify that it’s showing removable storage for this device if yes .. then second step is to copy some file into this drive…
