The following MCCs have been excluded from cashback eligibility (fuel, wallet load transactions, payment of property management fees, rental commissions, rental payments, watch, clock, jewelry, and silverware stores related payments, insurance premium/ insurance related payments or any such payments made through following MCCs): 6012, 6051, 5541, 5983, 5542, 6011, 6540, 5944, 6300 and 6513. W.e.f 15th June, 2023, MCCs 6381, 5960, 6012, 6051, 8299, 8211, 8241, 8244, and 8249 will also be excluded from cashback eligibility.

I knew this may happen anytime soon....

So I applied au lit card

I pay 600 for 3 months, means 200 per month effectively

I get 2 percent cashback upto 1000 and 2.5 % value of rewards points redeemable at amazon and etc...

Meanse upto 50000 expensive u get 4.5 % return and after that 2.5 %

banks will devalue cc if users misuse it. Nobody house electricity bill can be 80k,max it can be 10k.So it was commercial use or paying others electricity bills to earn money(again commercial). I pay around 5-6k in summers but i have relocated and my bill will be more as now bill comes for 2 months instead of one. Axis should have banned the 80k customer cc as they were misusing it and not devalued it.
