Friends - it is becoming difficult to remember my bank and other login passwords. Which is a good password manager which also syncs between Android mobile and laptop?

Babaji, close your eyes and go for Bitwarden. Used to use Dashlane few years back then shifted to Bitwarden. It is not as advanced in terms of extra features and autofill as others but then it is free or very cheap and the basic feature of password and card management is good.

I use Firefox browser on both desktop and mobile. It syncs online and lets you add, edit and remove passwords too.

Don't save your main bank password any where.

Use Bitwarden for other important logins.

Firefox for casual logins.

Use KeepassXC on PC and Keepass2android on phone. Install Dropbox on PC and store Keepass database file in Dropbox folder.

KeepassXC provides auto-type feature. It is better than integrating with browser which might increase attack surface. There is a browser extension available but I don't use it.

Keepass2Android has Android autofill as well as a proper integrated custom keyboard. Bitwarden/Keepass2Android sometimes doesn't open up as autofill option in certain inputs. So having a proper integrated custom keyboard is the best option.

If someone wants to get your password file, they first have to hack your Dropbox first. It adds extra-layer of security.

Food for thought: Let's say both your laptop and mobile gets stolen/lost/damaged. Now try getting access to your password/mfa setup from a new device. Sometimes, the most secure and private setups are the ones which lock you out itself.

Create a doc / xls file of all your logins/pwds...... secure it with a password and remember just this one document password to access rest of them! Voila! no need to share passwords with any apps or websites!

I've been using Dashlane Premium for the last 3 years and I love it! The UI/UX is amazing and it's affordable too! If you're interested, feel free to message me for a referral and get 6 months of free premium.
