Also share which company is now offering cheapest incoming plan. So we all can boycott airtel and port out.
Thanks

I think they want everyone to use only one sim for everything hence raising recharge prices so that it's difficult to maintain multiple sims
If they starts to increase tariff at such a rate then soon there will be only 1 sim card for entire family.
+1 2g bhi nahi hai thik se . Mere ko ab regret ho rha kyu load kra main balance bsnl me 107 ~ 90days se ab 50days kr diya . Aaram se 107 cut kr rhe hai free me .. 2019 me liya tha 4g upgrade sim wo bhi paid
Airtel wanted ₹200 ARPU and now it has ₹190 ARPU, how much more it want??

From last 3 years I am not recharge my jio sim but I received incoming calls and messages
First industry followed jio, now they are following airtel.
Industry followed jio to stay in the market and now they are following airtel to get more profits and jio is just moving a step back to be a good boy in front of users
99 plan still available.
Can't find this plan on Airtel website o.O
Airtel mukt Bharat
We should wish away whatever we don't like
What’s the big problem? People happily pay 150 to 250 for a single meal per person but cry about paying 200 for a full month of telephone service. Doesn’t your fuel price go up every so often? So does electricity, restaurants, train fares, doctor fees etc. Consulting a doctor at a decent hospital used to cost around 400 a decade back. It went up to 600, then 800, 1000 and is now 1200 to 1500 depending upon the hospital. Why always cry about telecom? Prices for almost everything have increased dramatically in the past couple of years.
Yes, I'm also have the same opinion but the problem here is Airtel increasing costs without improving network coverage last auction they didn't buy sub ghz 5g spectrum for indoor coverage, give users 5g nsa with few cities covered while the competitor jio bought n28 band and deployed superior low Latency 5g sa. Airtel got record profits from last hike still can't provide decent services my primary sim is airtel I will be happy to pay more if they provide decent 5g coverage better than jio.
Citizens now need to come to terms with the reality. Spending less than Rs. 200 per month for a lifeline service involving installation of transmission towers, cables, operating and maintaining that infra, renting 4g/5g at exorbitant Govt fees; is not a big deal.
Compare it with the amount you spend every month for avoidable luxuries of life.

Can someone please explain ?
How were telecoms profitable before jio ? Many used to recharge with ₹10/- every month for most of the calling needs during per second tarrif, still telecom sector was profitable. Now on an average people are recharging ₹150/- per month and they say we are making losses.
I didn't understand this math.
Airtel didn't disappoint me after a long, long time. They finally activated the Rs 1799 UL calling pack from main balance today upon my request. So that takes care of my one of primary Airtel nos. They had agreed back in September but when I had placed a request last week their attitude didn't inspire much confidence in me. Very surprising as it comes less than 2 weeks after a bad experience in my other primary no. in which due to USSD error auto-debit couldn't be disabled on the only day that Airtel generously allows it. I had furnished a video recording of the error as proof following which Airtel Twitter on a telephonic conversation promised to refund it but later they refused to honour their word. Oh well. Turns out it wasn't too bad as in light of the 99 pack being removed altogether a few days later.
Just use jio for incoming calls and sms they dont cut the connnection i have used like this for 3 months and they havent yet cut any incoming calls or sms for now atleast.
I wish there's a slab rate for telcos billing too. Just like the electricity bill in Tamil Nadu.
For the first 100 units it's free..
For 101 to 200 it's 2.2 rupees something and so on..
So the users with minimal usage are benefitted..
In my family..all our primary Airtel numbers are ported to jio..and all the secondary numbers are ported to BSNL for good..
Now all jio numbers are recharged with a 395 plan as we have wifi at home.. and data usage is minimal to zero when outside..
These bundled packs from all operators are a burden on the pocket to many people
TN power sector debt accounts for almost one third of entire power sector debt in India.
Also the same issue with the dth plans..
Earlier one used to get all channels for under 200 ₹..
Now that TRAI has given us the option to choose our own pack..it's costing more than earlier..
I don't know whether TRAI is favouring operators or public..
In the meantime Vi has updated their 99 plan it seems. At a glance it seems they have changed the call rate from 1p /sec to 2.5p /sec . This might indicate on Vi the 99 plan gonna stay.
Vi had also recently introduced Rs 279 pack with 90 days validity watch works out Rs 18 cheaper than Rs 99x3. One does lose out on 2x7 days of IC though...
