@rahulrsc No that plan will not change. It provides 2GB limit upto 2 Mbps limit (plus 100 free calls) whereas this one has only 1GB limit (no free calls) If you need an extra GB and free calls you can continue to use the same plan but that’s not a wise idea

Once you pay for it, the plan just locks for that period even though it won’t be available for anyone else to subscribe. Maybe only if they change the after FUP speed from 1mbps to 2 mbps (jk) it would apply but the basic FUP doesn’t change

Hope they increase the post-FUP speed as well as the data limit for all plans again

That’s exactly what I’m hoping for. My last wish (512 kbps min speed) took several years to be fulfilled but hope this happens sooner than later. Airtel is very manipulative and misleading. You never know they may suggest TRAI that only pre-FUP speed should be set to min 2Mbps speed.

Taking cue from the current FUP speed limits that is not going to happen. Besides this gov is determined to fulfill ‘Digital India’ program so they won’t bulge for one company.

From this page also, they removed info about broadband plan of Rs499 per month.. i think they changed their mind…

Useless bsnl .I live in jamshedpur and no open lines since the last two years and those moron babus babe like maharajas. TG for jio, I have free Internet till 31 Dec at least.
