“BSNL…customers will be able to make unlimited free voice calling from their BSNL landlines to any network mobile and landline in the country on August 15, and thereafter every Sunday,” Telecom Minister Manoj Sinha said in a statement.
At present, it offers unlimited night calling on any network in the country between 9 pm to 7 am as a complimentary service for all its customers.
BSNL commands around 57 per cent market share with 14.35 million customers.
“This service will be available for all BSNL landline customers besides the existing free calling scheme at night.
