The lady gives him 2000 rs note. The shopkeeper gets the change from next shop, keeps 350 for himself and returns Rs.1650 to d lady.
Later the shopkeeper of the next shop comes with the Rs.2000 note saying “duplicate” and takes his money back.
“How much LOSS did the shopkeeper face ?”
A. 350
B. 1650
C. 2350
D. 3650
E. 4000
F. Other(Specify Amount)
Simply accepting 2000 note as valid will be the amount he lost
Option : d 3650
F 2000
Loss : 4000
The shopkeeper gave grocery worth 350 Rs. to the lady.
The shopkeeper also returned 1650 Rs. to the lady.
The other shopkeeper also took back his 2000 Rs. from this shopkeeper as the earlier note was duplicate.
So, total loss for this shopkeeper = 350 + 1650 + 2000 = 4000
Wrong
4000, 2000 give to shopkeper and 2000 to ladies
First he had Zero cash and 350 stock.
He gave lady 350 stock, took 2000 note, gave it to next shopkeeper, took change of 2000, kept 350 cash and gave lady 1650.
So he is left with 350 cash. No loss/profit at this stage, as he got full value in exchange. 350 cash in exchange for 350 stock.
Next day the other shop keeper comes, returns the 2000 fake note (worth no value) and takes 2000 from him.
This is the loss transaction, as he gave 2000 with no value in exchange. Loss is 2000 only.

Wrong
It’s ₹2350, ₹2000 fake note and ₹350 worth goods
Loss of 2000 seedhi bat no bakwas

Shopkeeper gave 2000 from his pocket to another shopkeeper and 2000 rs (1650+350 goods) to lady
Loss:4000
Breakup:
2000 change from next shop against fake note collected back by next shopkeeper.
1650 change return against lady purchase for 350.
350 worth of groceries.
Wrong
Computer ji sahi jawab bataya jaye
shopkeepers give to lady 1650
and duplicate note 2000
total 3650 loss
and 350 amount exchange with GROCERY no profit no loss
so ans is 3650
No
Rs4000 loss,350 grocery + 1650 change + 2000 returned to other merchant
4000 loss
If Shopkeeper had 1650 at home
And guess 2000taken loan from other that mean he had 3650cash and 350 stock
Now lady given fake 2000 that means zero but Shopkeeper given him 1650cash and 350stock now Shopkeeper had original 2000cash which he gave other Shopkeeper now the loss is 2000+1650+350=4000
