Scientists are now reporting health complications for the use of hydroxychloroquine on COVID-19 patients
“One of the very first drugs to be brought into the coronavirus cure spotlight was an old anti-malarial drug called hydroxychloroquine. Since then, the drug has been highlighted by President Trump and has gathered quite a lot of attention.
Unfortunately, President Trump shouldn’t have promoted the drug without the scientific evidence to back it up, because now reports are coming out that the drug is being linked to extreme side effects in COVID-19 patients. French health officials are now reporting that hydroxychloroquine has been linked to as many as 43 cases of heart incidents in patients who are being treated for COVID-19, Bloomberg reports.
Bloomberg also states that France has recorded a total of 100 health incidents and four deaths linked to “experimental drugs for coronavirus patients since March 27”. 82 of the health incidents were “serious” and linked to the use of hydroxychloroquine and HIV antivirals lopinavir-ritonavir. Brazillian researchers also conducted some tests on hydroxychloroquine and found higher dosages of hydroxychloroquine killed 11 patients.
Researchers in Brazil split a group of 81 patients into two groups. The first group was given 450mg of chloroquine twice a day for five days, and the second was given 600mg for 10 days. Researchers began to notice heart arrhythmias in the second group after the third day, and by the sixth day, 11 patients had died. This discovery halted the study, and as you can imagine, researchers stopped giving high dosages of hydroxychloroquine to patients.
To boil everything down, researchers and scientists still don’t have enough evidence to suggest that hydroxychloroquine is a ‘cure’ for COVID-19. More research still needs to be done, and studies that have yielded successful results need to be peer-reviewed."

Looks like they have already created it and doing drama with some months gap, and will eventually be the first country to come up with this and sell it to the world.
It is one thing to come up with theories and with China involved anything is possible. At the same time we shouldn’t forget the quality of “chinese trials” just like other chinese products (those bastards didn’t even spare covid test kits and protection equipment). Also they might be advancing at a faster pace because even if they kill a few in the process of testing no one stops them there. So easy for them to get good trial results from a huge set of unlimited supply of samples (read people) unlike other countries.
hydroxychroquine :
It is anti-malarial drug and there is no evidence that it works or it is safe to use for coronavirus.
This drug carries adverse side effects and can also cause deadly heart complications.
Scientists even warned that HCQ has ability to react in toxic way.
Some serious side effects of HCQ:
Irreversible retinal damage
Life-threatening and fatal cardiomyopathy
Skeletal muscle myopathy or neuropathy
Suicidal behavior
Death due to overdose
American FDA approved it for the patients in serious condition that can possibly die because of corona, some experts even said that widespread usage of these drugs is premature.

No proposal for reduction of pension: Centre
There is no proposal for reduction of pension and no action is being contemplated by the government in this respect, the Centre said on Sunday.
The assertion assumes significance as rumours are afloat that the government is contemplating reduction or stoppage of pension.
“It has come to the notice of the Department of Pensions and Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW) that, in the wake of the current pandemic COVID-19 and the ensuing economic scenario, many rumours are afloat that the government is contemplating a reduction or stoppage of pension which has become a source of worry for the pensioners,” the government said in a communique.
“As clarified earlier, it is being reiterated that there is no such proposal for reduction of pension and no action is contemplated by the government in this respect. Instead, the government is committed for the welfare and well being of the pensioners,” the communique issued by the DoPPW said.
There are 65.26 lakh central government pensioners. — PTI
GoAir employees to go on leave without pay till May 3
Majority of 5,500-odd employees of GoAir will now be on “leave without pay” till May 3 as its entire fleet remains grounded in the wake of the extended lockdown, the airline has said.
In March, the Wadia Group-owned airline asked its employees to go on LWP on a rotational basis besides cutting their salaries.

The drones have the ability to identify people who have higher temperatures, detect sneezing, detect heart rate, respiratory rate, and detect social distancing. According to Chell, CEO of Draganfly, “What these cameras can do is actually detect fever, which is very different than detecting just temperature. They can detect sneezing. They can detect your heart rate, your respiratory rate, and they can also detect social distancing.”

CDC: COVID-19 spreading on shoes, now spread up to 13 feet away…
“If you thought the fear of coronavirus was bad, think again: the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said that coronavirus can travel through the air by at least 13 feet — twice as far as current social distancing guidelines.
The research was conducted by a team from the Academy of Military Medical Sciences, and was recently posted in the CDC’s own Emerging Infectious Diseases Journal. The report reads: The aerosol distribution characteristics … indicate that the transmission distance of [COVID-19] might be 4 m (more than 13 feet)…
The CDC’s new report is also pretty scary, warning that coronavirus can linger on shoes and acts like a carrier for COVID-19. Researchers talked about samples taken from the Huoshenshan Hospital in Wuhan, China — where they said: "Furthermore, half of the samples from the soles of the ICU medical staff shoes tested positive. Therefore, the soles of medical staff shoes might function as carriers.
High levels of the disease were also found on trash cans, door knobs, bed rails, and even right down to a computer mouse — all frequency touched and used surfaces. The report also notes that they found “sporadic positive results” from medical staff on their sleeve cuffs and gloves. The CDC notes that, medical staff should perform hand hygiene practices immediately after patient contact…
