Nothing much benefit for users u need to pay minimum 150 RS ncf fees no matter u buy 2 channel or 20…most of channel are not there as of now
Its going to cost me 30% extra for my current pack. TRAI is cheating in the name of transparency, they should have left as it is old packs too if user wishes to.
Please gather around and tweet to TRAI against this draconian rule. I am baffled, as how this got even passed through court! And there even are some consumers who are so friggin blind (and dumb) that they are thinking there might be some good in this rule of looting customers in broad daylight.

Choosen basic telugu packs and it’s cost me 252rs, earlier its cost 165 for dish tv
if maximum price per channel is set to ₹5 this could be great. but ₹19 / channel is too much. TV channel will die soon. it’s only exist in my home due to my parent.
Dishtv users can edit their 100 fta channels .Please remove unwanted free channels from that 100 channels because they will charge 1rs per channel extra after 100 channels .
Yes, i have removed 30 channels in basic 100 and added regional 26 channels. My total channel count is 98. For this my monthly rent is 252
I think it’s applicable only from feb 1, at least for Airtel?

All the naatak by TataSky and Airtel, I guess it’s time for Jio to step and set things right in DTH space as well.
Everything was fine in DTH space (maybe barring Tata Sky and their skyrocketing tariffs). There was no need to change anything at all. They simply did NOTHING and increased the tariff. What was 99 before, is now 154, that’s it. Jio maybe the main culprit behind all these. Just creating a fake inflated price picture in DTH market, and you come, offer packages at lower price, and people will fall for that, as from highly inflated price even small discounts seem like a lot! But the reality is, we will remain exactly where we were. Jio might just be that satan appearing as the god, only time will clear everything up. In the meantime, customers are happy to let themselves be looted.

5-6 regional SD channel (pay chqnnels) which family mostly watch . Cost me around 192 rs . Per Month . If I choose 99 pavk in tatasky and rigional add on of 40 rs total I have to pay just 139 . NCF is a one type of Scamming trick .
Same here. In our home only our son watches cartoon channels for like an hour. So for that took 36 rs plan on dish with 1179 for 3 years (32 rupees a month). Now for 68 rs earlier total comes 185. Even if there was no 3 years plan 99 plus kids add on of 35 would have cost 134 earlier. Utterly rubbish idea because of some stupids who used to pay 750 for watching 1000 channels at a time in 24 hours a day.

they should allow paid channels price to be adjusted within this NCF of 130. 
I came to this thread to gain some new information regarding this new rule but lost my brain cells.
This rule was made by people with no brain cells to start with, so trying to know about it will result in the same 
What you wanna know anyway? Are you a TS subscriber, who pays more than 500 PM for a few channels? Then this rule might be good for you. Are you a subscriber of other DTHs like Airtel? Then you simply will have to pay 20-50% extra depending on what you choose to watch. That’s the nutshell.
Any dishtv non stop pack user here ?
I called up dishtv cc and they are replying as nothing will happen to those who subscribed to non stop pack .It will remain to work continuously beyond 1feb .
I don’t trust them by words ,but I called up 3-4 different agents and heard the same reply
Even a friend of mine also called up and got the same replies .
Anyone here ,who has same dilema ?
Because I am not going to change my packs in hurry .
Will just wait .

what is non stop pack can u tell in brief you mean to say annual pack.?
I am also subscribed to 1 year annual pack. Will continue this if it goes as it is.
