It's disappointing to see Flip Kart's in-house seller Retailnet is selling fake products.

Check the customer's review pictures, the insole is of a different brand, even the shoe I received has the same insole and not of NIVIA's. The logo and design are also different as you can notice. Three customers have posted pictures excluding me, out of which 2 are fake. So out of 4, 3 are fake.

This is a genuine product of ASICS India Pvt. Ltd. The product comes with a standard brand warranty of 90 days.
Even Puma gives a Warranty on FK, but the Varion one didn't have it.
Only on a few Puma shoes, I can see the warranty details...

So. only the products with Warranty Disclaimer are genuine and the rest all are Fake? This is a big-level Scam.
I am fed up with FK. I have sent an email to FK and Nivia's support to call for an inquiry with a link to this post, let's see if they reply. 😄

The local store didn't give me a refund, so I had to buy a racquet.

Even I thought the same while ordering but your question raises a point as well. Maybe they were too lazy to replicate the insole and they sent a foot comfort from Nivia.

Look, What I have found.
The shoe with a different Insole has NIVIA tag printed vertically, why would NIVIA make two different kinds of shoes?
I did my research on the ones I have received, and the ones on the Fk's review pictures are 100% fake except one.
Design-wise the original and the fakes are close replicas, but the finish and the cushion are very bad in the one which I received.
Let's be optimistic here, you never know maybe NIVIA themselves are manufacturing an inferior product to cover the costs and FK is their victim. 😜

Heavy discount items like shoes, branded clothes on Flipkart all are either copy or very old stock. Once i bought Flying machine Jeans and in first wash colour faded (seller was retailnet)
Sometime Flipkart selling at heavy discount offer but they cancel by saying mrp error.

How much can you trust the brand itself? There were raids some time back in Bangalore in so-called Reputed Factory Outlets and a huge amount of fake branded products were caught. If you see the stock during sale in most showrooms, you will find subpar and inferior products compared to non-sale items. Many companies are nowadays manufacturing low-quality huge-quantity items without proper packaging specifically for sale periods. When Online retails ask for stocks for sales for heavy discounts, these companies do similar thing to maintain margins. Very few companies have the morale to maintain quality products, no matter what and will conduct regular checks on retailers for fake/sub-par items. They have genuine sale, where they do clearance sale and do not get into manufacturing specially for sale. Its getting tougher and tougher to find such products/companies.
Sometimes old unsold inventory is sold via flipkart/amazon which doesn’t match current product quality or upgrades.
Not saying this is the case here, but I have seen this happening. However probably for your case it was a duplicate product.

Usual thing on Flipkart now. Ordered a rinse aid pack of 2 for 96 each & received one completely empty bottle.
