So I have 2 different PC’s.
One HCL and one Gigabyte.
HCL Specs :-
2 GB Ram
No Graphic Card
Pentium® Dual Core Cpu E5500
250GB HDD
Gigabyte Specs :-
2 GB Ram
No Graphic Card
Amd Phenom™ II X2 550 Processor
500GB HDD
So Now Main Questions -»1: Should I Upgrade PC Components.
2:- If Yes Then Which PC. Which Part Too.
3:- If No Then Should I Upgrade My CPU.
BUDGET :-
20k For CPU If Required.
10-12k For Component.
If Anyone From Mumbai, Please Guide Me While Buying From Lamington Road Too.
Edit:- If Anyone Have Contact In Lamington Road Shops Please Help Me There too.

What are your suggestion for motherboard and possessor
My suggestion
Change the RAM GPU CPU HDD and MOTHERBOARD
Gigabit 340, any intel 8th gen, ryzen 3, ssd(for OS)+hdd(for porn) , 4gb stick(for win 7) gpu(if any money left)
Lagbhag kitne ka padega yeh sab? … 
Just upgrade the HDD to ssd, thats what I did to my office pc’s….. Now they running smoothly on windows 10
Sdd has two problems-
1.low storage for price
2.if data gets corrupted you can’t recover it.
Ryzen 5 1600 -7-8k
8gb 3200mhz corsair ram 3k
Mobo as per your choice. 5k
Ssd 250gb 3.5k
Get a graphic card second hand.2k
This can be an alternative but i won’t suggest you a second hand GC.
Ryzen is good now nowdays but still compare it with intel as well before finalizing (clocking speed, threading).
Primeabgb n computer selection are some good shops to shop.
@HACKER1011 And yes accumulate some more money and buy these in rainy season. That is the best time when their market is really down so you will be getting the best price out there.

The phenom 550 can actually be unlocked to a quad core . If it unlocks, you wont need to upgrade

Ok. You can check your monitor resolution by checking model number. Or just tell me. I’ll try to find out.
Video editing is processor ( both CPU and GPU) intensive tasks. So you have to update to some recent hardware generation. Doesn’t mean it has to be latest and greatest.
There’s no point upgrading as almost no latest generation hardware are compatible with your existing motherboard or it would not function with 100% capacity (face huge bottle necks)
Though some used components can be bought online never buy used Hard drives. Lot more chance of failure.
Let me get back to you few hours later with configurations
What If we can extend budget to 25k-30k??

1. CPU :
•Rysen 3 3200G ( 4 core 4 thread , 12nm Zen plus Architecture. launched in 2019)

OR Used Rysen 5 2400G ( 4 core 8 thread , 14 nm Zen Architecture. 2018) should be under 5k.
2. Motherboard:
Atleast B350 chipset
B450 motherboard recommended.

x* Do Buy NOT A320 Chipset motherboard.
Prefer motherboards with 4 RAM slots if price difference is few hundred bucks.
3. RAM: atleast 8GB DDR4 3000 ( or higher frequency) MHz
+ Later you can install another exactly same RAM Module to run in Dual channel memory.

4. Instead of Hard Drive buy SSD if atleast 240 GB capacity.

5) HARD DRIVE:
Minimum 1TB is required.

You can add a Toshiba or WD HDD for file storage. Toshiba has lowest average failure rate
and WD has 2nd lowest average failure rate after Toshiba. I you go for WD do consider WD Purple Surveillance Hard drives.
As you already have a old PC cabinet I’m not suggesting any Cabinet or Power supply now to keep the cost low. You can upgrade that later ( for features like USB 3 Ports and other features)
** I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU WAIT FEW MONTHS IF YOU CAN. RYSEN 4000 SERIES DESKTOP CPUs (7nm Zen 3 Architecture) ARE ABOUT TO LAUNCH IN AUGUST/SEPTEMBER. It’s going to be much faster and more Power efficient.
And after 4000 series launched the 3000 series also going to get cheaper. Currently Prices of PC hardware is Higher due lockdown ( low demand, low supply)
And I would also suggest you to get a used graphics Card in the future, with atleast 4GB GDDR5 memory (especially if you edit 4k videos) like Radeon RX 570 to accelerate your video editing softwares. Currently you can get a used RX570 4GB with minimum 6 months warranty for under 6.5k ( in OLX)
Try Over clocking the Rysen CPU to gain more performance. You can use Rysen Master Software to do it easily. Check online guide on Rysen CPU Over clocking. You can easily achieve 10% overclock with stock cooler that comes with in the box… But Buy a good After Market CPU Cooler under ₹1200 if you need to do more.
Please mention what Video editing software(s) you use. And what Power supply or SMPS you have with your cabinet. If it’s less than 400 Watts you would need to get a decent entry level power supply for graphics Card.

*I have to also mentioned that the Desktop Rysen 4000 series CPUs don’t support older B450 Chipset. You have to buy latest B550 Chipset motherboard.

Instead of the CPU with integrated graphics above ( 3200G) You can also buy this much more powerful CPU:
Rysen 3 3100
( 7 nm Zen2 Architecture. But has no integrated graphics, you have to buy a graphics card with this one)

A used graphics Card with atleast 2 GB DDR5 memory =₹2-4k
If you have low RAM then you can use Windows Ready boost feature with a unused pendrive.
It would really produce good results if that pendrive is USB 3.0 compatibility even with a USB 2.0 port. As these are made to be faster, has faster Flash chip and mem controller

Sell both n build a new one
Both CPUs are very outdated n slow..not worth upgrading anything
If you wanna change CPU, then you got to change MB+RAM too (most costly ones)
The remaining spares ..I think the ones u have should work (PSU, HDD, Keyboard/Mouse)
