Help with terrace farming using coco peat. Any farming knowledge is helpful.

Dear Dimers,
One of the major setback of staying back home and isolating from the outside world is the difficulty to stock up vegetables and other perishable items. How can we tackle it?
I am planning to start off with some limited terrace top framing in our home and any guidance will be appreciated. As our home isn’t the strongest structurally we have been advised by our engineer back then not to have too many plants on terrace. I have heard coco peat is comparatively lesser in weight than conventional soil (may be 50% or so?). Can someone guide me please?
This will be helpful for many other dimers as well
1. How much coco peat is needed for what size pot?
2. What can be used as nutrition that can be added to the pot of coco peat?
3. What all can be grown? Can we even grow root vegetables in coco peat?
4. What takes least time to grow? leafy vegetables or normal vegetables and a typical timeline for growth?
5. How to water them? Once a day will be fine or more frequent than that?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

Did you germinate the dhaniya, palak and methi in large pots directly or used smaller pots to germinate and then shift them to large pots?
How long did it take to grow to a size good enough to be harvested?
Methi and dhaniya we can use seeds directly right? how about palak?

We are doing terrace gardening from last 4 years. I guess you are from hyderbad. I will share contact details of some experts in hyderabad. They will guide you everything.
Remember if you want to only cocopeat as a medium in pot then you have to use lot of fertilizers.
1. How much coco peat is needed for what size pot? – You have to divide pot mix as 3 parts. 1 part red soil, 1 part cocopeat and 1 part vermicompost
2. What can be used as nutrition that can be added to the pot of coco peat? – Is it not suggested to fill a pot with only cocopeat
3. What all can be grown? Can we even grow root vegetables in coco peat? – Mostly all vegitables can grow in a pot.

How many times to water? Well for leafy vegetables 2 times should be minimal as they tend to get sunken pretty quick.
I don’t have any idea about coco peat.
About roots just make the plot thick ass possible.(but don’t plant them too much time to grow🤭)
I don’t know the English names but i have planted dhaniya palak methi.
Buy readymade compost for nutrients. And then keep adding used tea powder(after making tea) to the peat.
And don’t add filtered water. Any tap water source
