Hi Folks,
I have decided to buy a small car for personal use & selected Hyundai Eon.
I made this thread to know personal reviews of the dimers who have good knowledge about this or who are using this model.
Also help in selecting the Correct version as there are 4-5 versions.
Also please let me know how is Renault Kwid ?
Thanks in advance

So many votes for KWID, i am confused now
KWID – my friend brought for 4.9l few weeks back, nice one
WTF my one collegue bought top Model in around 4.3l (On road)
he brought TOP END some extra fittings
Dont’cha worry about the NCAP ratings. They are so poor even for Mahindra Scorpio (the official car of goons since like forever )
The results are so bad since Without Airbags and cheap price means no ABS leads to unsafe results. But you can drive it carefully and it shall be as safe as any other car.
We even travel in Ola cabs Tata Indica which is extremely hazardous car.
I woke up in a 1.2 million car Awesome track!

De de paarty tu aaj meri jaan, plush two mein paas ho gayi
Congrats man.
Unwanted Tips:
1. Go for extended warranty in case you are keeping car for more than 2 years
2. Insurance should be bumper to bumper (Zero dep)
3. Dont waste money on accessories. Wait n watch and then add items as per requirement.
Avoid Teflon coating (it is a fake name for a fake product, original DuPont doesnt sell in India).
4. Go for under body anti-rust coating from 3M Car care in your city. Well worth the price and it has a warranty too!
5. Go for genuine HSRP number plate only. Theft proof and cheap and good looking.
6. Get a gear lock and pedal lock/wheel lock/clutch lock/steering wheel lock. Two of these would suffice.
7. Upgrade your car’s eyes (headlamps) with Philips Xtreme Vision Plus (+130) which have an awesome effect on headlight range and throw as compared to stock ones. Not too pricey. Just around a thousand bucks. Street legal too
8. A good car freshner and you are good to go.

So that you feel less worried than the next person whom you bumped into.
Smart advice.

True! But it is worth it!
If you can manage by auto/taxi till then, then you must consider it!
It is VFM at the price and beat all in almost every aspect!
