What is inner beauty all about?

By definition, inner beauty may be described as something that’s experienced through a person’s character rather than by appearances.

It’s the real beauty of a person that goes far beyond just physical appearances.

To most people, inner beauty is a joke. People say that inner beauty is something ugly people say to themselves to feel better. Of course, that makes perfect sense too. I mean, if you can’t see it, who can really tell whether it even exists in the first place?

The real truth about inner beauty and all its confusions

You may assume that inner beauty is something you can only feel and never see. But how true is that? There’s a big confusion between outer beauty and inner beauty, and in all that confusion, we’ve overlooked the true effort of inner beauty and given all the credit to outer beauty.

You may assume that you never notice inner beauty at first sight. But is that really true? Almost all the time, you notice a person’s physical appearance only for a moment, until the real inner beauty starts the attraction game.

You may speak to someone for a minute and find them pleasant or not-so-pleasant at first. But as the conversation goes on for a minute or two, you may start to pick qualities and traits, and without even realizing it, you may start to find a person more and more beautiful or charming. [Read: How to get someone to like you immediately]

What makes attractive people so attractive?

You may think it’s a chiseled face or a gorgeous physique that makes a person attractive. But more than anything else, it’s a person’s inner belief that they’re attractive that makes them more appealing to others.

It’s true, physical appearances can be a bonus, but it’s something that’s easily overlooked when other traits are brought into the picture.

The glow of confidence and doing love appeal comes from within yourself. Some of the most fancied personalities like Oprah, Lady Gaga or Tom Hanks aren’t really the prettiest of people. But their glowing confidence and self-belief makes them attractive to every member of the opposite sex.

Even Shrek the ogre seems loveable and nice once you get to know him, don’t you think?

First impressions don’t always depend on your physique or your facial features, but you need to believe that from within yourself. And that’s where your true beauty lies.

Are you beautiful on the inside?

Inner beauty helps you appreciate outer beauty. If you love, appreciate and feel good about yourself, you would feel more confident about facing and interacting with other beautiful people in the world. Remember, outer beauty can give you a glance, it’s inner beauty that makes someone stay. [Read: How to make new friends when you can’t find any friend

Is beauty really in the eye of the beholder?

I personally believe that beauty isn’t really in the eye of the beholder. I think beauty is within ourselves. What others see when they look at us is a projection of what we want them to see.

When you fill your thoughts with positive energy and inner beauty, you’d appreciate the things that are around you a lot more too. Even when you look at an inanimate object like a painting, or even a view of the ocean, it seems more beautiful to you because you see the beauty that overflows within you reflect in everything else around you.

If you feel beautiful, your own self belief and confidence brings out a glow of beauty that no outer beauty can compete with. But if you feel ugly, your inner beauty will reflect the same idea and project it on your outer beauty. If you truly feel beautiful on the inside, you’d never seem unappealing to anyone else.

Yes, it’s true that some people may want a 36-24-36 body in their partner ,but that’s only a preference. Just like how some girls see wealth as an important criterion when it comes to dating a guy, it’s all just a preference. And you really need to understand that from within.

Let us know the happiness time brings, not count the years.

@Tejaa @asoka @sukhichd710

@dealyogi @dharmanath481
@krishan42933

Some of us have reached our golden years, and some of us have not.
But these suggestions should be read by everyone. They have been collected
from many a senior, each with his or her own piece of advice. Some you know,
some may surprise you, and some will remind you of what’s important.
So read well, share with your loved ones, and have a great day and a great life!

1. it’s time to use the money you saved up. Use it and enjoy it.
Don’t just keep it for those who may have no notion of the sacrifices
you made to get it. Remember there is nothing more dangerous than a
son or daughter-in-law with big ideas for your hard earned capital.

2. Stop worrying about the financial situation of your children and
grandchildren, and don’t feel bad spending your money on yourself.
You’ve taken care of them for many years, and you’ve taught them what they could.

3. Keep a healthy life, without great physical effort.
Do moderate exercise (like walking every day), eat well and get your sleep.
It’s easy to become sick, and it gets harder to remain healthy.

4. Always buy the best, most beautiful items for your significant other.
The key goal is to enjoy your money with your partner.

5. Don’t stress over the little things. You’ve already overcome so much
in your life. You have good memories and bad ones, but
the important thing is the present.

6. Regardless of age, always keep love alive. Love your partner, love life,
love your family, love your neighbor and remember:
“A man is not old as long as he has intelligence and affection.”

7. Be proud, both inside and out. Don’t stop going to your hair salon or barber,
do your nails, go to the dermatologist and the dentist,
keep your perfumes and creams well stocked.

8. Don’t lose sight of fashion trends for your age, but keep your
own sense of style. There’s nothing worse than an older person
trying to wear the current fashion among youngsters.

9. ALWAYS stay up-to-date. Read newspapers, watch the news.
Go online and read what people are saying. Make sure you have an
active email account and try to use some of those social networks.

10. Respect the younger generation and their opinions.
They may not have the same ideals as you, but they are the future, and
will take the world in their direction. Give advice, not criticism, and try to
remind them of yesterday’s wisdom that still applies today.

11. Never use the phrase: “In my time”. Your time is now. As long as
you’re alive, you are part of this time. You may have been younger,
but you are still you now, having fun and enjoying life.

12. Some people embrace their golden years, while others become
bitter and surly. Life is too short to waste your days on the latter. Spend
your time with positive, cheerful people, it’ll rub off on you and your days
will seem that much better. Spending your time with bitter people will
make you older and harder to be around.

13. Do not surrender to the temptation of living with your children or
grandchildren (if you have a financial choice, that is). Sure, being
surrounded by family sounds great, but we all need our privacy.

14. Don’t abandon your hobbies. If you don’t have any, make new ones.
You can travel, hike, cook, read, and dance. You can grow a garden, play cards,
checkers, chess, dominoes, and golf. You can paint or
use computer to connect with social groups.

15. Even if you don’t feel like it, try to accept invitations,
Baptisms, graduations, birthdays, weddings, conferences. Try to go.
Get out of the house; meet people you haven’t seen in a while.

16. Be a conversationalist. Talk less and listen more. Some people go
on and on about the past, not caring if their listeners are really interested.
That’s a great way of reducing their desire to speak with you. Listen first and
answer questions, but don’t go off into long stories unless asked to.
Speak in courteous tones and try not to complain or criticize
too much unless you really need to.

17. Pain and discomfort go hand in hand with getting older.
Try not to dwell on them but accept them as a part of the cycle of
life we’re all going through.

18. If you’ve been offended by someone – forgive them.
If you’ve offended someone – apologize.

19. If you have a strong belief, savor it. But don’t waste your time
trying to convince others. They will make their own
choices no matter what you tell them,

20. Laugh. Laugh A LOT. Laugh at everything. Remember, you are one
of the lucky ones. You managed to have a life, a long one.
Many never get to this age.

21. Take no notice of what others say about you and even less notice
of what they might be thinking. They’ll do it anyway, and you should have
pride in yourself and what you’ve achieved. Let them talk and don’t worry.

They have no idea about your history, your memories and the life you’ve lived so far. There’s still much to be written, so get busy writing and don’t waste time thinking about what others might think. Now is the time to be at rest, at

peace and as happy as you can be!
AND REMEMBER:

“Life is too short not to sing, dance, and live happy”

Quantum Physics and Economics
Today in Economics to bring about some definiteness in the economic behaviour of large populations, to somehow get definiteness in the basic uncertainty, Economics is modelled on the lines of classical or Newtonian Physics. Today Newtonian Physics is fighting for survival as a science, because of mankind’s dependence on Technology for its economic life, but at the level of basic principles, Newtonian Physics is facing problems at the basic core. In day today life Newtonian Physics reigns supreme and most of today’s engineering and technology, is based on Newtonian mechanics.
Even then, the entire economic life is almost taken over by electronics, where Quantum Physics reigns supreme. When we go to space and the relationship among large bodies—planets, stars, galaxies, vacuum etc, it is Einstein’s Relativity Physics, with the concepts of space-time, time dilation, Lorentz contraction that rules.
Quantum Physics does not agree with Newtonian Physics and Relativity Physics, Newtonian Physics does not agree with Relativity Physics and Quantum Physics and Relativity Physics does not agree with Quantum Physics and Newtonian Physics. But by themselves all appear correct and proved. Now attempts are on to reconcile these three, mainly between the Quantum Physics and Relativity Physics, through the Strings Theory, the Loop Quantum Gravity theory, the concept of the Universe as a Hologram etc.
I feel that there is another approach—-it is through the study of economic life. Economic life is basically uncertain. In the quantum world uncertainty and probability reign supreme. Let us first list out the quantum puzzles:

1) The sub-atomic particles (electrons, protons, neutrons etc) may exist either as waves or as particles but not as both at the same time.

2) The particles exist in more than one place as waves, called the superposition state. As a wave a single particle can move through many places at the same time. If an electron is sent by being directed at hundred holes, the single electron goes through all the hundred holes at the same time, in its superposition state.

3) The moment one observes or when a consciousness entity observes, the wave collapses into a particle, measurable in terms of length, breadth, height and time.

4) Communication between two particles can happen at a speed several times faster than light. It is called the Quantum entanglement. When you go at a speed faster than light, you go back in time. You can see the birth of your great grandfather—effect before cause!

5) The uncertainty and probability principle that governs the quantum world, states that we cannot measure the speed and position of a particle, precisely at the same time. If you measure the speed accurately, the measurement of the position will be only probable and not accurate and vice versa. There is limit up to which consciousness can probe into.

In the quantum world, ultimately, it is consciousness entities that rule. Observation actually creates particles or matter. Our economic life too is divided by the vagaries of the collective consciousness. Economic life is the result of collective behavior of very large populations. This behavior too is a big riddle.

Is it not time to incorporate economics also as a part of the effort to develop the TOE or the Theory of everything? Then we get enlightenment and some stability in economic life—two birds at one shot, a quantum superposition feat!

All said and done economics boils down to individual behaviors in symbiosis with the rhythm of the Universe. Dividing subjects into faculties is ultimately resulting in the suffocation of individual subjects, as each subject has to cross the limits of its definition and the constraint imposed by the imposed scope.

@B@R_0_0_D bro,Read This :

One of my student,Parminder Singh Arora, who is presently pursuing B.Tech from Jadavpur University.

His story in his own words -

“ I don’t remember having any childhood as such. I suddenly became 21 from 14 – there was a huge psychological gap in between. I was born and brought up in Calcuttta where I used to go to Khalsa English School. We used to live in Bhawanipore, and then we moved to Ludhiana, Punjab for two years. Meanwhile owing to an accident my father had become bedridden.

I had tremendous urge to study but we were financially unstable and the quality of education in the school my family could afford was below par. I badly wanted to come back to Calcutta. We did not have any money to buy our tickets. My mother struggled a lot to gather the money and I don’t know how, but she got three tickets for us to get back over here just for me. Nowadays, we talk a lot about true love – but the way my mother dared to take the leap of faith along with her paralyzed husband and twelve-year old son, it surpasses everything. She had no clue where to stay once we were back in the city or how we would feed ourselves. The only thing she knew was she had to make sure I got proper education. Ultimately we found accommodation in my brother-in-law’s residence in Bhawanipore.

My father’s health deteriorated with time. I still remember my 10-year old self, standing beside my father in his deathbed as he failed to recognize anyone – apart from me. Even with his limited abilities he was able to gesture that I was his youngest son who was still in school.

Suddenly, I felt so matured after my father’s death because I knew that I had to take care of my mother. We were coping with the loss and gradually growing stable. I was in Class 8 when bhaiya died of a heart attack at a young age of 35. My sister-in-law and her two sons had to go back to Punjab. From Class 8, I had to work apart from going to school. Till Class 9, I worked as a tyre-delivery boy for 250 rupees. My school teachers were like My Protectors. From Class 6 till Class 10, my science teacher Ganesh Jha taught me without ever asking for tuition fees.

I topped in Madhyamik from my school. The only regret I have is that my mother never got to see this.10 days before my results she passed away in my arms in a taxi as we were rushing her to a hospital.

After my Class 10 finals, I took up Bhangra professionally. My first show got me 500 rupees. I used to earn more from shows outside the city. I started teaching mathematics to Class 9 students. There are a lot of sayings which tell us to follow our dreams. In my case, this actually came true. I wanted to do engineering as I wanted to fulfill my mother’s dreams. My life changed in half an hour when Aakash Institute waived a part of my fees and my school agreed to sponsor it. I started working as a waiter at a roadside Punjabi Dhaba near Deshapriya Park. One day, my Physics teacher from Aakash spotted me over there and it broke his heart. He helped me shift to a PG to carry on with my preparations and told me to give up work for one year. I studied with dedication for that year. I topped in Higher Secondary examination as well from my school.

I think we should never take our aims emotionally. I worked real hard before WBJEE as JEEMAINS did not go too well. I ranked around 1700. I got into JU in the first counseling and upgraded to Production Engineering. Currently, I am a Bhangra choreographer, a radio jockey at Radio Voice of Khalsa, an assistant Physics teacher at a CBSE school. My life does not allow me to think about future because you never can predict it. I want to take a break and do a job after completing my B.Tech. According to me, happy and sad are relative terms. And, none of it is permanent. Also, there are people living in better or worse conditions than you are. So, I think we should live life the way it comes.”

Inspiring story @asoka,

1. Author says suddenly turning 21 from 14
Its not easy going by the circumstances he faced.

2. They shifted to Kolkata at the age of 12, however his father died at his age of 10 ,
Something a missed when he authored.

My random thoughts:
1) Electronics is still governed by laws of electrodynamics (talking about consumer products…. at least for few upcoming years) and Newtonian Physics (if we talk about electronic sensors like Gyroscope, accelerometers etc.)
2) Much progress is going on towards Quantum electronics (esp. Quantum Computing)

3) A line full of imagination : “ You can see the birth of your great grandfather —effect before cause!”…. (don’t forget to watch Stephan Hawking’s show on " Brief History of Time" if you haven’t seen https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_biggrin.gif )
