That’s great to hear. A life savor.
May I know if it’s applicable for all existing users or new users also? I don’t have an IDFC credit card and planning to get one. I could not find it in the benefits.
I had an amazing experience with IDFC Road Assistance program, putting it here so that more people can take benefit of this in case they are not aware.
https://www.idfcfirstbank.com/personal-banking/... (applicable for FIRST Private, FIRST Wealth and FIRST Select cardholders)
My car's battery was down and needed a jumpstart. I called their Road assistance number, the call connected immediately without any waiting or IVR. I was asked last 4 digits of my card number & mobile number and name for verification. Request was raised and I was given ETA of 45-60 mins. I got a call from them (CC) that a technician has been assigned and I should expect a call back soon. In 5 mins, I got a call from the technician and he reached in around 15 mins. Again got a call from CC to ensure that technician has coordinated with me. Technician came, fixed the issue. No paperwork or any more verification. Lastly, another call from CC in few mins to ensure my issue has been fixed and confirm the time at which technician reached my place. Overall, it took around 30-40 mins from calling the CC to my issue getting fixed.
Hope they continue to provide such good service.
PS: 4 complementary services per financial year. (as per cc).

Great, thanks. Sorry, one more follow-up question, I see 4 cards to apply. If I enter my details to apply for let’s say wealth card, and if I am not eligible for that, will it allow me to apply for a lower variant?

These are really good. Free for us and not like crap crossroad, race helpline
.
Questions: does the car need to be registered in the name of the same person as the credit card?, or close family is ok?

Yes, if they can’t they will give compensation to you for not being able to service you

good question. Though the TnCs mention that vehicle should be registered in card holder’s name but I was not asked for this. The car for which i availed this service is registered in a family member’s name.
In the conditions it is mentioned as share last 4 digits of the debit card but majority have only credit card so I think it is not applicable for credit card holders

it’s available for debit cards (atleast premium ones) as well as credit cards. I availed it using my select credit card.
