Be it Stray Dogs or Pet Dogs there are increasing cases of dog attack. Personally I escaped at least 2-3 times from a Dog attack.
A 2016 BBC article- India has some 30 million stray mutts and more than 20,000 people die of rabies every year. Last year, Global Alliance for Rabies Control reported that India accounted for 35% of human rabies deaths, more than any other country.

Dog owners may enjoy the company of their dogs and feel proud of them as they protect them but what about others?

You cannot do anything really. It's not the dogs you should blame (kutta toh kutta hi rahega) but the ones who feed them and then go back to their houses and lock the door. They are much worse than the animal itself. Do you know any other country where dog owners let their dogs poop on the streets openly and not in their own houses? It's only possible in India. Bunch of demented selfish c***ts.
Just don't act scared in front of those filthy animals. I know, it's not possible for children and senior citizens. And most importantly carry a long stick. They do fear the sticks. I fear many more people (mostly children as they won't be able to defend themselves) will need to die before a stern rule will be passed regarding this nonsense of mass dog feeding.
The people of this country are really something special.
PS: If the menace at your place has become out of control then a mass petition to the local municipality/corporation should be the first step, followed by repeated reminders in taking action. Then following from that a case could be filed in a court of law with evidence. You will have be to patient during these processes.
why in countries like uk us no stray dogs there , in inida nothing will be done sadly
i was even attacked by a stupid black dog when riding scooter, he jumped on me i got disbalanced and got a small accident.
Most dogs are cowards(except pitbull). Can someone just tell me if it is legal to beat up a dog to a pulp if I or someone else is attacked without being charged with animal cruelty?
