Eleven persons were charred to death and five others suffered serious burn injuries in a mishap at a firecracker manufacturing facility in U Kotthapalli police station limits of East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh.
Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) R P Thakur said, "An accidental fire took place in a firecracker manufacturing unit at Uppada Kothapalli. 11 persons have been declared dead. Fire department is trying to control the fire. All our officers are attending the rescue work."
Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu has expressed grief over the death of 11 persons. He has ordered district collector Neetu Prasad to take measures to put off the fire.
Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, Pithapuram SI of police, Sanyasi Naidu who is at the spot carrying out rescue operations at the scene said, “Fire broke out in the cracker manufacturing shop of Vakathippa of U Kothapalli in East Godavari. We have shifted 7 injured to hospital. The scene is chaotic.”
Two fire vehicles were pressed into service to put off the fire. Police said the manufacturing facility has license and mishap took place due to negligence while manufacturing. Injured were shifted to Kakinada government hospital.
Toll is likely to increase according to police officials

ठीक है, पर बकरीद पर मीडिया वाले बार-बार बकरों की बोली के रेट दिखा-दिखा कर और मुसलमानों को आकर्षित करते है, वो भी प्रकृति का हिस्सा है, कितना नुक्सान होता है प्रकृति को और कितनी बीमारियाँ फैलती हैं, उन लोगों के साथ बस, ट्रैन, मेट्रो या कहीं भी पास बैठ भी नहीं सकते हैं - कितनी बदबू मारते हैं वो सड़ान्ध लोग।
bro i know you got your mood off by some thought of some tweeples and fbians , who just forward such messages only on specific festivals and they intentionally do that . but tell me one thing for those people you want to pollute our environment without any valid reason , when lord rama reached ayodhya , people did not burst crackers (at time of so many inventions if they wanted they could have invented crackers too) , people celebrated that occasion with happiness among all people , exchanging sweets , greeting others , ayodha was full of light but not of crackers , it were diyas . no where mentioned in ramcharit manas that we "must" burst crackers . the amount we spends on crackers just for few hours fun we can donate that to soldiers , farmers , poor people , divyang , needy class of india and providing diyas and sweets to people in shelters , their diwali is not lighter as much yours , so on diwali make everyone diwali lightier as yours , problem is not crackers , problem is we buy crackers worth thousand and even few ppl waste lakh rupees and they only craze us for 2-3 hours not more than that . we can use sparkles (fuljharis) as crackers at least they are less polluted and no sound pollution and so many harmful gases as others . in delhi pollution level is already so high bcoz of various reasons , so why you want to give more excuse to those tweeples (hypocrites) to say that omg on diwali pollution level is so high , people made polluted environment .. let others do what they want , that is their karma . but why you yourself show diwali as festival where level of celebration is lower than sound of crackers . and in cities like delhi crackers are poison . at least in polluted cities we should not use them . in villages if we burst crackers they are not so dangerous and everything becomes normal after 2-4 days but in cities it kills us badly . leave asthmatic person , even normal person feels like he is inhaling gases only , and in morning you can clearly see black cough or sneeze:-P bcoz of those particles . delhi people knew what i am saying . and argument like why not stop others , why only us , that is ok and right to criticize them , but it does not mean we should follow what others do . for ex - if some party did corruption in past and current govt too do corruption then will you digest this excuse -last govt also did that so what bad if we do the same . these excuses just show those both are two sides of one coin .. and your point that why not care on other festivals , bro i donno what they do right or wrong as per them and we cant force them . but i agree with irffan khan personally that he said sacrifice should of own bad karmas on that day not of any animals , what that animals did harm to them , so we all people of india should celebrate our festivals in which we don't harm others (animals too) . and i know no one want other advice , but one can think from inside that which thing is better for us and others .so it is people decision if they use crackers for fun or investing same money in other people happiness .. btw wishing all of you HAPPY DIWALI and spread happiness ,
