We all know the tough days we are going through right now. But still there are many companies who have rewarded their employees for their work via appraisals. There are also others who haven’t gone towards increment because of losses due to pandemic. So what’s your take on this? Have you received an Increment this year (2021) or any other rewards? What all you think could have been done better by employers for the employees? so spit out all your feelings here as we all are in it together.
Large number of IT companies have reported good profits during the pandemic to everyone’s surprise. Majority of fools have passed it on to the employees, while the smart ones haven’t given a dime citing uncertain times.
i believe that it is smart to be a fool

Wife’s salary – 25% less since June, 2020.
It is now almost 1 year… still no hopes for full salary for couple of months, if at all 
Depends upon the sector, also upto the promoter of the company

Schools here in Mumbai are charging full fees, if your school also charging full fees then your wife along with other teachers should protest and stop taking online classes….. This is totally unacceptable…..
Yes we got increment in our company. Also, a friend of mine works in Jio Financial Services. He got a 16% pay raise this year while the highest among his colleague was 32%
Current organisation gave 3% hike luckily just got a new job offer with 80% hike (more due to new is much better paymaster)

Bro lockdown is now been 15 months.🤣
got 2% the previous year, got 5% this year, hence switching seems to be a better option now

Fortunately, the bonus was good (shaatir strategy by the company to keep people there).

Got 10% hike.. Also got the news that Microsoft is taking over my company this year.. 
Got laid off last May 20 with 3 months notice. But tried and found one company in same city, with 20% hike. Didn’t think twice and joined even before notice period.
And not got another 10% increment in this cycle. So happy with lockdown progress, I guess. FYI,

Yes I am. But very less. Last year 2 this year 6%.

Normal se kam mila.. But mila h.. In February
Increased to 50k from 38k
(Luckily in March starting i.e before case rises)
Last year they haven’t paid Salary to anyone for 1 month.

2 saal hone ko hai koi appraisal nahi mila. Yah tak ke wfh setup ke liye bhi allocated funds me bahut sare restrictions the.
Jaese ham tumhe de rahe hai tum use karo but uske sath tnc aese denge ki chah kar bhi pura use nahi kar paoge.Funds allocated were 44% of what company spends on office facilities for one employee in a year.
Tried outside. Got 70% hike with 40% bonus
