Presently for me stock JB with some enhancements gives best battery backup although difference is not alarming ……. you try out AOSP + Xposed + Gravity or Vanir both look great !!

Is there any way to activate mobile hotspot, tethering Without rooting the device

I have tried SlimCat & Vanir and hardly notice any difference in the battery backup
As of now, I am back to original JB Rom. Biggest reason is the customization done by LG.

Tomorrow, I am planning to try MoKee. Let’s see.
Has anybody tried this ROM anyways?

Tried but did not like it ……. nothing unique about this ROM..

karma given to akshat and dittu for their great help…in stock JB ROM all is perfect except for worst battery….
when i keep it on for doing something for evry minute or 3 minute 1% battery is emptied….

Just a little warning for all…People who have used the app I left some feedback. I am posting some of the feedback here so people know this is not an app for every device. Use the tweaks carefully.

if you have problem You didn’t do your research like we were all taught in elementary. Check compatibility with your phone and it. They say it doesn’t work for all phones but most. You must also remember this isn’t the finalized build. If you have problems with other things research to fix it and don’t complain it fucked your phone cause you don’t know how to use Google like a normal human. The only problem I have is that I don’t know what I did but now I can’t use voice input anywhere. It forces closes every time.

I think this app is great but when I install and reboot BEATS© It got boot loop ? I reflash stock and reflashed my from again and try not to install this app again !! Plus explain why that happened? Please. Need your reply ASAP

After installing it, I installed Sony xloud and clear+ and after reboot my phones mobile network is gone and I’m not able to make any or receive any calls as there is no network. when I press call app phone hangs for 5s and nothing comes. Only wifi is working. Volume buttons not working. When I press volume buttons, phone restarts. There is no sound. Anything related to sound is not working. music also not playing. So I uninstalled the app. i did factory reset. But still same problem. And after that tried to flash my stock rom, but its not upgrading. I have dload folder in my SD card but my when I press software upgrade button nothing happens. I have even tried power + vol + – But its not upgrading my firmware.

If you want easy way for tweak your phone, you must have this app. But beware, some of tweak maybe didnt compatible with your phone so use it with caution n please dont blame dev because of this

@Akshat any special tweak or option we could use to from that app to improve battery life? Thanks!

Guys i have used many ROMS on our E970 till now…pls find positives and negatives as below:

Stock LG ROM
Pros:
1) Awesome LG Customisation – i simply love the lock screen and interface
Cons:
1) Batter drain is biggest issue
2) Slightly less signal strength than other kitkat custom ROMs

Paranoid 4.4.x:
Pros:
1) Awesome and bestest battery backup of more than 1 day…around 26-28 hours backup
2) Pure kitkat experience
3) super smooth
4) Beta 6 version has awesome extra features like pocket sensor, whenever we bring cell out of cover or pocket, it automatically detects light around and glows up
Cons:
1) Halo is irritating
2) Paranoid beta 3 and 6 versions have 1 strange bug. Whenever you will reboot the phone, 2 out of 5 times, it will delele your phone settings, SMSs, and other app settings…which is very problematic for me…this problem is not in previous beta versions before beta 3

Mokee Rom:
Pros:
1) aWesome kitkat experience
2) super smooth
Cons:
1) Battery drain is issue here also

Overall Comments: right now i am on stock rom, Paranoid is awesome but this setting delete problem after reboot is big big no for me! looking for some rom which can give me kitkat with awesome battery….

Next step:
PACMAN ROM 4.4.2 is released on 5th March, i am going to install it to see how it goes for battery!

Currently using miui v 4.2.16(based on 4.2.2) since 7 days,great rom,realy supper snnapy,smooths like yiu r using i phone,everything customisable,battery performance is great arpund 30 hr for moderate usage lots off themes to use

I don’t think so. But if you have rooted your phone, you can follow the below steps. I found it on xda and it works perfectly. You will also need some software to edit SQLite settings. In my case I used “SQLite Editor”

In SQLite Editor, Goto com.android.provider.settings >> then system >> then settings.db>> then system >> Then find “tether_entitlement_check_state” >> goto the value and edit to 0. It will save. Then reboot phone. That’s it.

Till date i used the following roms;
1)stock rooted-4.1.2
2)vanir aosp-4.4.2
3)cyanogen mod-stable 4.3
4)cyanogen mod-snapshot m3-4.4.2
5)miui v 4.2.16(4.2.2)
Out of above all roms i feels vanir & miui is best one,vanir is for kitkat feels with all features like active display,omni switch,smoothness & battery,miui is for fully customisation themeing,stability,performance & overall good bettery

Use CW rom for flashing it will work.

installed TWRP previously and used that to restore my previous ROM and after that it is ending in infinite bootloop….now what???:-{

You forgot to clear your Dalvik cache before flashing a new ROM. I told you clearing Dalvik Cache clearing is must … Clear your Dalvik Cache and Data partitions before flashing again ….. it should work as described …… and do not panic …. as long as you have TWRP working nothing would happen to your phone !

Whether you restore and flash a new ROM always clear your Data + Dalvik Cache !!

No no I cleared the dalvik cache..
First I did wiped the data and then in advanced options checked the box for dalvik cache as well
Then I chose the zip file for installation..

Any one recieved there accessories from dx.com.plz cnfirm.

Then I chose the zip file for installation..

You have to formate system also for clean installation: just go into recovery-mount & formate-mount the system-than formate it,than go for installation

Hey akshat
after installing pimp my rom i installed beats audio,but the problem is that now asphalt 8 wont start.
goes to gameloft screen and quits

beats set up
1) rebooted while installing with a screen saying installing
2) rebooted a couple more times and said on starting “optimizing apps”
Now i wont be able to play asphalt and that too after so many levels

Any help would be appreciated
