For installing twrp , use freegee which would be the most simple solution

Confused between these ROMs: AOSP, MoKee and Cyanogenmod.

Any comments for Android 4.4 (Kitkat)?

installed cynogenmod 11. 4.4.2 works great.
still worried about battery life. i think i’ve to wait for 3-4 days for it.

Yes, i use it & installed cwm recovery,take caution while flashing the recovery that you use 3g connection else the download fails & your phone may b soft brick

Yeah, it works perfect.
I’ve not faced any problem so far.

Finally I got my phone in working condition and installed ATT Bloatware as well.

Hi all,
1.Can some one explain why is it that some people get security error after rooting and some get it smooth?I believe promoking and others faced security error even though they only removed AT&T apps..
2.Is unlocking the bootloader a must to remove the AT7T apps?
3. Is it better to completely remove the apps using some uninstaller or freeze them by freegee as mentioned in XDA

Now suggest me some roms guys, which can be good for daily usage.

For CM11 – some people say they have wi fi issue, and evena fter flashing modem the wi fi connecttion is not stable but for some people everything works fine.

also ive got one stock rom – completey deodexed- removed all at&t bloatware but on jelly bean

Anyone tried any rom? do share you feedbacks on the same.

yesterday night i saw my friends phone, it looks awesome, and done some rooting and unblocking right away for him. used framaroot to root the phone and then used freegee app to unlock the bootloader and installed cwm latest version. one thing i noticed is when it rebooted there was google logo appearing before the lg logo. is it for all the phones or only who used freegee app to unlock the bootloader

hi guys….please help me on moving apps or installing new apps in memory card instead of internal storage. Guess this will be helpful for newbies like me.

yes, there was a google logo after unlocking, i too used freegee.

OTG working?
It was not working on stock rom. installed cm11, still not working. couldnt find on xda either.

Question for the fellow dimers here, what is the usual battery percentage used by Android OS, and the time for which the Android OS keeps awake? I have a keep awake value of almost 3 h 35 mins out of the total 5h 18m for the battery after full charge.

Guys I need some help
I am unable to configure 3g on the device. I followed the instructions on the thread and selected the options as said. and the menu showed a success message. Then I went to settings and entered the apn setting. But still im unable to connect. I am using a BSNL Kerala sim in WB. I have tried automatic, WCDMA and GSM only modes, turned international roaming on and off and also used APN for BSNL kerala and West Bengal as well. Still no connection.
Can anyone suggest an alternative. Will flashing another build help like CM or are these settings part of the kernel itself?
Any help would be appreciated
