Need help picking shoes

I have been advised to wear shoes with cushioned and flat sole. Surfing through the net I found these but not sure of which one to pick. Any person with experience with these are free to advise.

I was going to buy this one but then saw the other options and am confused whether they all have same cushioning and flatness?

Important: The shoes shouldn’t bend when put pressure on them vertically.

Good brands are New Balance, Merrell, Hoka One One, Asics, Inov, Mizuno etc
If you want cushioning, you will find good models in Hoka, Asics etc

+1 for New Balance and Asics.

@thrifty_indian You might also want to consider barefoot, minimalist shoes like the Vibram FiveFingers or Adidas Adipure. Although the minimalist approach may seem wrong and crazy at first, it does work! Think of this as Vedic Math vs. the Western concept of Mathematics.

@dimepincher the orthopedic and post operative care equipment or aids are a high profit business. Especially when a product/ brand isn’t officially launched. The smuggled or imported item increases the chain (number and greed) and final price. Despite having got custom shoes made 20+ years back for flat feet and paying 1500-1600 for it, I was as awestruck as you when purchasing the ‘LP Band’ few years back. Was unaware and went to the area/shop the hospital staff had suggested.

Yeah… I know. But for one sock only, the price was exorbitant.
