hello guys…. has anyone tried opening an icici pocket savings account?
Update: got all the info i needed….
This this awesome… I mean its SUPER awesome
U get an 0 balance savings account with a international platinum visa debit card …. Yes here international means turely international…. After getting DC all u have to do is contact CC to activate it….
How to apply for saving account:
Click on deposits or iwish… Then u will see apply now
Fill out the details.
U will get a call from the bank(i got it within 30 mins)
Executive will visit at your place for documents and stuffs… U dont need to porvide any xerox copies or anything… They take the pic of originals…. And ofc your pic too :p
This account comes with all features that fulfills everything….here are some
1) 0 balance
2) NEFT free both inwards and outwards
3) international DC
4) 10 leaf cheque book
5) here pocket virtual card and DC both are separate things… I guess everyone knows what we can do with that…
One drawback: we can deposit money physically only once in a month… But it is not of a issue…. Read all the comments, u will come to know why :p

While im searching for info abt pocket savings account. , i found this thread in Google and this thread helps me a lot. This is the thread that made me a member of this DD.
I applied for pocket account and today i got products ie dc cb.
Once again im thanking u myliferockkss for helping me via public post and also through pm’s.

How much amount can be loaded into a pockets account using a debit card after upgrade.
I know that a normal pockets account can be loaded to a max of 10000/- in a month, but what after upgrading to saving account. Is the limit increased ?

They introduced 2 different saving account in latest pocket app.
Pockets per txn max i can load 2500 Rs. via debit card.
Is there any daily or monthly limit to load via debit card in terms of txns or amount?
Can i load 2500*8 on same day via same debit card? Is it lenient if different debit cards are used?

Now if you open this account then there are multiple limits and restrictions….you can go with better options now like idfc/kotak/DBS etc
They are not taking new applications, You people got any alternative or anyting else, I want international dc.
I guess all SBI Visa DC now works internationally
There are many options out there, Kotak 911 also works
