Need urgent help please: Received an empty packet without phone inside

True. I had tweeted but of no use.
Can you believe what response I received from the customer care representative when I called up cc?
“I dont have your money”“I havent taken it”!!!!! I was so much frustrated over this statement that I told the lady that the call is recorded and if she actually realised what she said….
She immediately told me I am disconnecting the call. if you are recording the call I am disconnecting.
I mean seriously they have no professionalism and no sense of what they talk.
Why should they get scared even if I am recording the call.
Pathetic service they provide. Disgusting.

Received the refund back day 2 days ago in form of gift card.
Received a call yesterday from a investigation and crime department of Amazon. Took permission to come home and talk face to face about the issue.
Wasted half an hour in that conversation.
got email reply from Jeff bezos (CEO of Amazon) assistant manager who is working on this issue.
This purchase have turned out to be a harassment for me.

Off late I have noticed even these Amazon CC too behaving like other CC executives. They are unable to answer Simple queries also

They say that my account can be blocked anytime.
I am waiting for the matter to be resolved. Don’t know what to do with the GC I have 32k. in amazon gc. that’s a huge amount.

Please tell me if there is a way to buy the ticket complimentary GC without paying the shipping charges. Then I can buy 3 worth 10k each. Thanks.

The shipping charge is applicable to certain pincodes. And why did the refund you in GC balance ?
Why are they threatening you about your accunt getting blocked ?

Op kindly reply to the following questions

1) Was the seal intact on the box pack
2) if it was not intact why would u open the pack and not call cc immediately
3) Did u note down the manufacturing details and stuff like imei
4) what was the packing in which u received the phone
5) why were you adamant on a new phone while they were proving refund ( was it because u bought through gvs)
6) if u fear your account being blocked why the heck you want to save ur shipping charges to buy ticket compliments gc.
7) what language u have been using against the cc and in emails also makes a difference.
8) why do u feel the process a nightmare they have instantly refunded u your money in the mode of ur payment ( most probably) many other sites would take weeks to do it. So can’t understand why it’s so troublesome for you.
9) your greed to notify Jeff bazos and what not will always put you case into additional scrutiny. Also to note that your case and value of fraud is huge for an ecommerece site. They will carry out necessary inquiries to identify and rectify and punish the offender. So if u be Co opaerative and supportive enough u don’t need to panick

@saymyname it was a sentence used by the investigation officer. That even if the cc refunds the money we may even block your account till the issue gets resolved.
I had bought gc at 10% discount and then purchased the phone. You can check my posts when i was planning to buy gvs.

The outside packet was in tact.
Inside Bubble cover and the cardboard was tampered and torn.
I have returned the accessories but still hold the outside packing cover that contains shipping details.
The packing was a polythene cover.
The reason why i was adament on buying a phone is because the same phone costs 4500 more than the price i bought. I bought it at 22000 and the phone was listed at 26500.
About the gc. You got a point. I don’t have to look for discount then it’s 4% that’s still ok to buy. I’m not in loss.
Hmm. It’s frustrating for me. Receiving so many calls asking the whole incident again and again. Emailing also consumes time. And more over i m working in a house wife plus i also am into a business. It’s difficult for me to manage everything.
Lastly, i agree with you that i must be co operative and must have patience in helping them out.
But I’m not happy with it that the investigating department will take 2 days to lodge a complaint. Why do they have to wait for another 2 more days when things can be done quicker.

@saymyname yes. May be. It’s actually their job to investigate. Will post on dd once this issue is sorted out. Eagerly waiting to catch hold of the culprit.

Is there any weight mentioned on the polythene bag u have retained keep a snap of that polythene bag. I really find it hard for anyone apart from Amazon employee to have done it if it is the case. Cause if the outer package is intact someone who has access to surplus Amazon polythene packing bags can only do it. By the words " cardboard was tampered and torn " do u mean Amazon cardboard packing or the mobile phone box. Did u look at the holographic seal on the mobile box. And don’t worry reach out to the investigation team and ask them to provide u the market rate of the phone in the form of Amazon credits so that u can purchase at that rate. I think u put this point to the investigation people who would most probably visit u. As far as I know Amazon ( more than what I know my namesake paytm) they will provide u the difference in credit if u tell them the same. People have even got credits for order delays and cancellation and see no reason why they won’t give it to u if ur case is proved genuine. So just be patient and Amazon still is Indias best ecommerece site.

Ps: look at Xiaomi redmi note 3 pro which will launch the next month. Its not a nexus but quite powerful for the price it will launch at 11 k- 14k

Hmm. About the market rate difference i spike to the cc and team leaders but not if any use. They aren’t ready to give any credits.

Going through your whole story, I would suggest you to take it a bit easy with Amazon. I know someone has done some mischief here and in such case it can happen at any point starting from seller, packaging department, logistics, delivery team or sometimes at customer end. But the most genuine player in such episodes is the e-commerce player, who is Amazon in this case. So, its not only you who have missed the opportunity to get this phone at 2-3k extra discount, rather its Amazon who have lost 20k+ in form of GC, and also they have to keep lots of employees on hefty salaries to deal with such cases.

So, rather than standing against Amazon, stand with them and assist them in whatever manner you can. With all these interactions with you they want to rule out the possibility of instance that some customer is taking them for a ride and also, it will help them to find out flaw in delivery system and inturn will help in prevention of such cases in future.

Be Happy and Be Calm.
Don’t worry about phone, you will receive the same in atmax 2-3k more.

I guess tracking the phone using IMEI number is helpful in case of small time pick-pocketers… Organized and professional thieves know a lots of methods to avoid that. Moreover Amazon must be having that expertise to trace and block that phone on the basis of IMEI (if possible).

Nothing like that , UBSPD listed one Book with 3 Volumes at a Certain price, But He sent me Only One Volume !

Amazon Asked me to place a new order and said to Keep that book , No need to return !

Placed order and that Idiot seller again sent me Only one Volume !

Again went to Amazon, Same response ! Kept the book got the refund and price difference aswell !

Placed 3rd order and This time Seller had to Ship all 3 Volumes !

Actual Cost of the Book was Rs3.4K and I bought it at Rs370 !

1) Install adb and fastboot drivers on pc
2) In developer options allow the bootloader unlock and usb debugging
3) connect device to computer
4) Open command prompt on the directory and following commands – adb reboot-bootloader
5) fastboot flashing unlock(for latest nexus) i think 5x supports the old command fastboot oem unlock also → click power button on device
6) fastboot reboot
7) once rebooted enter again enter bootloader following step 4
8) fastboot flash recovery *twrp/cwm.img
9) keep the latest supersu version in ur sdcard
10) in the bootloader using volume up down go to recovery then flash super su zip ( backup optional)
11) then reboot wipe cache dalwik if required
12) install xposed ( forgot method 10 year kids do it on your own/below 10 year old kids pm me )
13) download imei changer activate module
14) enjoy
