What is kyc. What is the benefit of it apart from 1.% charge
What are the disadvantages. Is it advisable to do if we have multiple accounts
How much time does it take. Any costs involved?
No costs involved. You can put a request in your account itself. Not recommended for multiple accounts. You need to submit unique documents for your account. Two options available. You can goto their agent’s place and submit the document or request them to collect the document door step. if you request to collect the document door step it will take lot of time as it is a manual process. For me took more than 3 months. The agents are not much interested. Once the documents are submitted, it will take a week max to get it updated. However, I do not see any difference in my account profile. There is no information that I am KYC verified. I only confirmed by sending an email to them. After that I received an SMS and email that my KYC is received.

Yes, Paytm changes the limits too frequently. I noticed this behavior from them for the first time around their Rakhi promotion.
@gurucoupon P.S. Do you have a KYC-verified account?

I feel that limit will be 10,000 per day. I’ve transferred almost 6k.
Update* : Check the image. It’s can’t be 10k.That guy transferred almost 15k
PS : Yes, I’ve verified a/c.

Ok, now Paytm could simply be having a different set of limits for KYC accounts (makes sense). So leave the limits in our spreadsheet as they are because we haven’t covered KYC accounts yet.

Last Comm: Its not chat thread . It’s hot deal section and we will be suspended.
Now i’ve changed only transfer to bank % . Other section we can update only after official or some full proof details. and IMO it should be separate row which says KYC verified only instead of mentioning in the same columns with * mark. Definately people will miss that.

Bro, don’t be so scared! After all, we are having on-topic discussion, which is appropriate even if someone were to look at just the thread title.
Agree with your comment about creating a new row for KYC wallets.

Then it is time
Even airtel money has some premium accounts where limits are up to 1 lakh.
Looks like in near future, Cash in Wallet(s) will be more than Cash in Bank Accounts!!

As far i remember Airtel money have 3 types of Account
and in 1 type KYC is required. Dont exactly remembering the account type , but they were also providing 4% annual interest to the account holder.
PS i m no longer registered with Airtel money but earlier i was their KYC holder customer.
@rajashankar Good to know. Thank you for posting this. VU + KG.
