@ QWERTY, you are a detective bro.

Could this be a co-incidence? I don’t think so!
@RAMZ, I agree bro. People selling souls and all are big Ar$e Holes.
The excerpt from the official description for Desidime reads:
DesiDime.com is completely free and user driven online shopping community for the ‘Aam Janta’.
To make it completely community focussed, we have made a promise to ourselves and to our users that we will never post paid advertisements for the front page deal. We do not sell any products. We only provide information to make your shopping experience fun!!!
God knows what happened to the oath now but this place is now slipping and is like a big paradise for the shameless sellers these days, it was way too cool in here from January to May. After that a lot of “Kachra” got piled on.
Now desidime looks more like Naaptol 2 with sellers creating fake ID and shamelessly voting up and recommending their own deals using multiple IDs.
Recent example is that screw driver kit deal from jloot. Full of Fake IDs. So full of them. Shameless MFs from jloot I tell yeah.
One more idiot were the guys(gays) who were pulling it for 3 months straight, TBF, who else. All into shameless self promotion using fake IDs.
So I guess it’s time to reboot desidime and make it a place to be but not for the sellers for sure.
wait a minute..
Yes this is a wall of shame thread for the idots who misused the system BUT
- Yebhi.com let it go in knowingly (they would have got a MIS trigger within 5 minutes of the 1st order).
- Almost all ecommerce portals have the same providers. Even if you might list an ID but it need not be the one procured from yebhi.com
- There are many sites which copy deals from desidimer and post with their affiliate links. So the fellow who worked on the FPD doesn’t get the credit and a dimer cannot be blamed for it.
- A lot of Dimers are down right greedy… If there is a coupon code to be generated for free they go overboard and generate too many and then fight amongst themselves to barter some juicy coupons with others.
I bought a Panasonic hair dryer online for Rs.529 while same one in stores is sold for Rs. 1000!
So there is a segment of people who buy things online and actually stock their shops with these products forget a minuscule segment which tries to selling them online.
So the real worry is not those idots who sell these slippers of yebhi but fellow who buy them online and sell it in their shops because then they are cheating the customer on warranty and its similar to the grey market business.

why would 1 buy it fr rs200??
its availble fr rs99 @ yebhi
@dharmanath666, all valid points.
This thread is just to showcase how re-sellers (both online and shopkeepers) monitor Desi Dime to grab deals and consume them before people like you and me can buy them. Why should a person who never posts a deal or shares a coupon or helps others get FREE access to the wealth of information on Desi Dime? There is a small fraction of dimers who are active and contribute to the forum. Others we know are here for a piggyback ride at the expense of others’ time and efforts.
The other menace is stockpiling of coupons by some Dimers. I have also done it but not for selling or trading but for free distribution to anyone who asked for it through many of my threads in “Request for Coupons” section. Nowadays I see many dimers who share coupons for free and that is a positive sign!
I know that we all are greedy by nature but still can share coupons for free if we have got them without paying anything or even if it costs us a few bucks. What goes round comes round. If you help a fellow dimer today, you will get help when you need it. You cannot put a price on that! Can You? The feeling of sharing is awesome!
Buying stuff online cheap and reselling it another thing … that’s a kinda business but such coupon selling that people ‘giveaway’ ere in DD is insane
Possibility is also that someone donated him these coupons and he fired it in ebay listing
http://www.ebay.in/itm/Snapdeal-100-off-199-cou...
A guy selling SD coupons for Rs.25…. I’m sure that this guy took coupns from some one here at DD and is now selling them!!
This listing has been added just a few hours ago
Next time i’m not sending coupons to anyone who has less than 100 posts
Damn you all got valid points and I completely agree to the points made by each of you guys.
We should have some kind of system on DD cos these days we get to see so much of crap deals all around on DD.
No one even cares what deal they posting they just want to post deals.
There is a search box but still no one makes use of it even the experienced members.
If a website releases any coupon then we see a flood of deals everywhere. For example if Koovs released a coupon of 2000 off then we get too see 100s of topics floating in our forum.
And I must say I’m not very happy with our mods cos they pay very less attention to it these days.
We have 22894 topics/deals in the Hot Deals – Online section and out of those humongous topics 1037 deals were posted in last 10 days… Do you guys really think that we have seen 1000+ different deals in last 10 days???
The point is if our mods becomes a bit more strict and caring towards DD then we might have a very clean forum.
And newbies should strictly be not allowed posting deals cos they are the ones who messing things up.
May be we should have a deal approval system on DD atleast for the Newbies(include me also in the list).
@ dharmanath666
I agree to all the points made by you except that pricing thing of online & offline stores.
An offline store is only limited to a city or an area while the online store is visible all over India so accordingly their selling is also high hence they get bulk pricing from manufacturer so thats why they are able to sell us products at such cheap rates.
For example you can get an iPhone or iPod atleast 2-3k cheaper online but when you go to an offline branded store like iStore itself then you won’t get a discount of even 100 bucks.
So I’m ok with the store wala selling you Panasonic hair dryer for 1000 bucks

The same people who are worried about genuine customers themselves made multiple a/cs and orders for these slippers, in every such thread here almost all here try to order as much as they can , what you do with it afterwards whether you sell or give way or keep it for yourself doesnt mean anything , none of us are real genuine customers, that all i have to say.
The same people you are referring to here make contributions to the community before indulging themselves. The rest are here to take advantage of others’ hard work without making any contributions to Desi Dime.
Kage, maybe now that we found each other and know each other pretty good, we should all make an invitation only group on Facebook and share deals amidst ourselves only. I know it is such a menace on DD that deals do not even last a few hours now after being posted.
So what do those merchant websites do about it, they promote their deals only via the sites that are banned by DD,like KG,Upto,Snapdeal etc etc if you have noticed. Coz that way they are at least sure that the promotion would last a little longer. Imagine if every merchant were to catch on with this trend of giving out offers only to the sites that DD has banned themselves. Anyways! But yeah a hot offer posted on DD has a much quicker expiry date than anticipated.
That’s the reason why sometimes we mustn’t give out and expose the tricks to get the best deals in India, in the open.
I am sure lot’s of tricks do not even get shared on DD for the same reason that we’ll all kill it. Just the few privileged get to know of them.
+1
i realised this after the very first deal i posted after being excited on being a part of the community.
shared the croma voucher thing which people knew. but after me posting it.
the vouchers were off HS18 the very next day. I realised the mistake. The popularity of DD is not helping the community but is acting against it.
Some serious steps have to be thought or all good deals will be steals for Silent Hawk, Resellers and selfish HUMANBEINGS.P.S. my thoughts.
include me
^yups a good idea
http://www.desidime.com/users…57
it means there are around 20k people on desidime who are registered , other 50k non registered – but most of activity , i mean by true activity is done by not more than 500 members ,
am i right querty ?
@viSH
In my free time i do research and read though dozen’s of blog posts and forum ports each day. I had encountered a forum ( i don’t recollect the URL) which had a loophole which leaked out contents for google indexing (I do Search Engine Optimization so I know my ways around)even though it was some private forum.
From the looks of it they were shopowners who were buying in bulk using coupons & using multiple id’s. Based on reading few posts I realised they were buying online to stock their shops.
Is there something wrong in buying it online and stocking store than buying it from distributor and selling it in the shop.
There is a HUGE difference. ones they sell by buying online is actually converted to grey market because the bill they give to the end user is void and cannot be honoured for warranty by the manufacturer’s local service centre. While the shop owner makes almost triple profit.
Who buys from these shop ? … actually we all do during window shopping.
