‘STARGATE’ & ‘INDEPENDENCE DAY’ CREATOR DEAN DEVLIN LAUNCHING NEW SYFY ORIGINAL SERIES ‘THE ARK’:
SYFY has ordered The Ark straight to series for a 12-episode season, with production slated to kick off in March at PFI Studios in Belgrade, Serbia. A premiere date has yet to be announced. Casting for the project will also ramp up soon, so expect some announcements on the crew of The Ark in the coming months.
Storyline -
The story is set 100 years in the future at a time when planetary colonization missions have become a necessity to secure the survival of the human race. The series follows the crew of the Ark One after they encounter a disaster on their mission with more than a year left to go before reaching their destination. They’ll grapple with a lack of life-sustaining supplies and a leadership vacuum, forcing the remaining crew to become the best versions of themselves to stay on course and stay alive.

As Picard observed, Q definitely isn’t well. He’s acting erratically even by Q standards. This story is going to be good, as far as we know the Q entity can’t be harmed. So it must be something even more powerful than them.

Reviews are good, similar to Man in the High Castle as plot based on alternative timeline history. You can also take a look at live adaptation of Asimov novel Foundation on apple tv. Of course this is assuming you have already watched Expanse, most successful space scifi in recent years.
