Pre Approved IDFC Select CC. Is it good ?

Today received a call from unknown number.. the caller was pretending to be a IDFC employee and he told me that I have pre approved offer of select credit card with 2.1 lakh limit. He also confirmed my address.
But the problem is to apply the CC he was asking for OTP on call and number from he called was also seem to be a personal number instead of bank's.
To cross verify I checked with IDFC customer care and executive also confirmed that i have select cc offer.
- Should I apply for Select CC ? Is it any good ot i should wait for Wealth CC ?
- Should I apply over call or is it a new scam ?
Do advice. TIA

Don't take.They closed my card without any notification because I didn't use the card in last 1 year.ICICI used to send sms or WhatsApp notification to give missed call to retain the card but idfc just closed the card and sent me email notifying the same.
All is fine. But personally what’s attractive in the card for you?
I have this select variant, but find it of no use personally.
Idfc had touted this card as a lounge access card. However Lounge accesses have now spend based criteria.
Rewards on some restricted category is good, but rates are quite low, hence didn’t bother to use much. Also has redemption fees bringing down the effective reward rate lower.
Idfc is giving ltf , need to check which varient it is
Call Idfc Customer Care , Apply Over The Call , If U Apply Pre-approved Via Idfc Website 99% Chances Of Agent Verification Takes Some Time ( If U Failed To Provide Own House , Salary Documents Etc etc Card There Will Chances Of Decline And Pre-Approve Offer Will Lost ).
Over The Call , No Verification , Instant Happiness
as.... its showing select variant with 2 lakh limit in app/netbanking.
I had similar preapproved offer with good limit for select card (on Idfc official website).I gave it a pass. I also got a call from idfc agent. But I told him that I'm only interested in their wealth variant.
Select cc is visa signature. Wealth is infinite. Rest about reward rate is similar I guess excl. Bms offer n all

Its probably not a scam call...but if you have doubt then why not go and apply for yourself from the IDFC website...IDFC has a very simple and easy process for CC application and you will complete it in less than 5 minutes...DM me if you need referral link any help on how to apply
If you have a offer , visit nearest branh and apply there
Do you have an account with IDFC Bank because recently I have been getting text messages from a number offering me ltf cards with benifits & limits from different banks where I don't even have any accounts
If you are customer and you use app or net banking, why not you apply from there.
Pre approved offers are parked at app/net banking.

I Tried applying 3 times on idfc website.. they always offer me fd based wow card.. any way to get without fd card?
