Pre-ordered S22+ on Amazon and they delivered S22 instead. Please help

Dear dimers,

My cousin pre-ordered a S22+ on Amazon but they instead delivered S22. When raised a concern, they reply back saying their records show no issue with the delivery.

He created a post on LinkedIn. Would be glad if you can help amplify it and to get the post more attention.

It seems they only checked the order status (Delivered/Undelivered) and verified the same with the delivery team. 

Its time for another reminder to the Amazon social media team @ AmazonHelp and be specific about the issue (Different product, IMEI mismatch if any + the sloppy job of the previous support ticket)

if you got that reply, then nothing can be done now even if you provide them unboxing video. They will forward same email again.

same thing happened with me too, I had order 512 GB pendrive but Amazon delivered me 16 gb pendrive, even after providing them unboxing video through mail and tweeter I received same reply from that saying “We have delivered your order in intact condition and no replacement or refund will be provided.” Have lost around 5.6 k

Seller was cloudtail india and order was delivered by Amazon

IMEI no. always on the invoice whether you purchase from anywhere. Without it very difficult to avail warranty. 

anyways if IMEI is same. Then easily you will get replacement. But if both are different. Difficult to get replacement/refund .  Then try via consumer forum.

Last time when Amazon delivered Redmi 11x instead of OP9 5G, there was IMEI mismatch (Product IMEI vs Invoice IMEI).

and if the same seller shipped S22 instead of S22+, then this wrongly shipped phone’s IMEI will still be tagged as “Unsold” via Inventory check. So, this is a very time consuming process but eventually the customer will get his phone/refund

Do you have unboxing video? I think complaining in consumer court or any such forum might help?

so far all purchases received with imei number on invoice. both for sim1 and 2

hope so, but in my case it was completely different. Even Amazon denied unboxing video and I don’t know on what ground they did this.

That’s for Flipkart?
In the case of amazon there are two documents (Invoice 1, P-slip/Warranty 1)

1. call customer support (select english) the reason behind choosing english language because Amazon has tieup with third party organization and they have there own team at Banglore and hyd location.
Ask the executive to discuss this matter with DART team if they can do anything in this matter
(Dart is a special team who have all access to Amazon/customer account)
if you’ve less replacement/refund and no related account found then they will raise a ticket with fc and provide with you update.
Or you can drop an email to jeff email id.

There are fraudsters using manipulated unboxing videos to claim refund/replacement. Maybe they started to look everyone as a fraudster because of these guys

Just checked IMEI number on warranty slip. It is matching with IMEI number on box which is of S22 and not S22+. How to proceed now guys?

Much better (unlike the mismatch cases)
Contact Amazon social media team again and this time highlight the IMEI thing and demand an IMEI check with the S22/22+
Alternatively, you can visit samsung service center and get a declaration from them that this IMEI belongs to S22 (not S22+) and share it with Amazon team

CC is least helpful in such cases.
Jeff mail is 1st step solution. They might refund or replace as good will gesture if account history is good. If it doesn’t work, cyber complaint might be only way.
