I was being told that only work with imei which you have generate bar code

so i installed old version of rjio and got bar code on lenovo

Todays Update – Finally got Reliance JIO Sim Free from a Reliance Digital Mini Express Store – Thakur Village Kandivali East Mumbai…. they checked the handset for 4G confirmation… Code was being asked only for Samsung Devices and Not for the other…

Can someone post a link to the apk, i am at the store, they are asking for apk

Download My jio Version 3.2.05 from Google and install all the apps.

Now force close the my jio app , and open it with internet turned off

Open the my jio app and open the first app that is “Myjio” and you will see the option “Get Myjio Sim” , now turn on the internet and press that button , accept the terms and conditions and you will get the barcode , it will be automatically saved in the gallery

NOTE : If you do not have the phone in jio supported list don’t panic , just move in and tell him that you have a xolo,samsung,panasonic,falana dimpalana phone ( which should be in the supported list ) and show the barcode from the Myjio app and you will get your jio sim.

it took 15 mins for me to get the sim.

Current Version is 3.2.08, will be able to generate coupon from RN3??

I am downloading torrents from extratorrent and trackers are public.

It’s a known issue. They are indeed throttling/shaping torrents and even file downloads. I have not tried to find a solution yet but I have heard that torrents would work fine with a high-speed paid VPN.

not sure about the torrents but for direct downloads i use VPN
I am getting like 5 times better speeds
Initially Jio even blocked outlook.com, since them using VPN even for casual use

Which VPN are you using?

I got two via Giveaways
One is “Okay Freedom” with unlimited bandwidth for an year
And “Windscribe” for an year with 50GB bandwidth per month
Windscribe is faster i get around 30mbps speed and around 20-25 for Okay freedom
Okay Freedom mostly connects to US/Germany , Windscribe works for multiple countries around 10

You are the second person on DD to recommend Windscribe. Will give them a try. CC @AngryHulk

P.S. OkayFreedom is useless for torrents — very slow. Only their servers in Germany are usable for even basic browsing.

NOTE Dont Update the myjio app from play store to latest version as in the latest version bug is fixed and you wont be able to generate the barcode.
