My jio sim is activated today.
I got the sim by showing code generated from Lenovo and the sim is now inserted in the same phone.

Can anyone help me how to convert 2GB limit into unlimited data https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_confused.gif

Usually, the JPO is automatically activated once the 2GB gets consumed. Just to be on the safe side, you can contact customer care at 198. If the rep asks you to wait, disconnect the call and call again until you get a rep who activates the offer immediately for you.

@AngryHulk Itna kya download karte ho ? https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_biggrin.gif

English TV series 1 season in hd itself use 27-30GB. So if I download 5-6 seasons in a month= 180GB. Rest in movies and games. https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_toungueout.gif

Seems like you haven’t started using x265 (HEVC) encodes yet. You can get the full season of a TV show in 1080p, high bitrate quality for 1/4th the size of usual x264 encodes. Might not mean much nowadays since JIO is giving truly unlimited internet. But I like to play my part in reducing wastage (each bit transferred over the internet has an electricity/environmental cost associated with it) and get better quality at the same time.

I don’t use JIO for downloading. Unlimited internet at home (20mbps) and 100+ mbps at office. No need to crap jio.

That’s my total jio usage so far https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif

X264 doesn’t play well with my tv. Audio issues or frame skips. I don’t mind using more bandwidth to watch content in peace.

I hear you about the playback issues, especially with Smart TVs which still do not support x265. This is why I was never sold on the idea of Smart TVs. I would much rather stream the content via my HTPC which I can keep upgrading with the times.
