I got a call from wishfin stating that you got a pre approved sbi platinum irctc card and you don’t need to provide a income document only aadhar and pan card and limit will of 3 lakh and I said don’t need but after call disconnected I got sms stating that thanks for applying sbi card.. And I checked my cibil report enquiry also been made. How can this possible I not even shared any OTP or any kind.
During initial level of call verification I asked cc about the Same and they are like we cannot comment upon the limit it will be based on cibil. How to proceed further whether they remove the cibil enquiry made

Have you ever used wishfin ?
(They have your pan card and mobile number with them.)

I was also offered IRCTC credit instead of SBI simply click. As far as I know, IRCTC SBI card is from RuPay, not visa or mastercard. It’s annual fee is 1500Rs though first year fee will be charged. It is for whom who travel a lot, but for online shopping, simply click is best card.

my pervious sbi card limit was 50k whether I can transfer the new card limit to old sbi card and close the new credit card.

They might split your existing cc limit with this one
and one can get 2/3 SBI CCs (one direct and 2 co-branded)

Thanks for correcting me. The SBI card agent had told me 1500Rs annual fee. May be SBI has revised the annual fee now. The reason could very few people are interested for IRCTC card, especially if your a online shopper.

Pre-Approved Credit Card from these 3rd party sites is a big joke in India…You will still need to go through everything…I also saw the Yes First Preferred as Pre-Approved LTF on Bankbazaar & applied for it & they changed the card variant to the lowest end Rewards Plus card without my consent (created a thread also regarding that today here : https://www.desidime.com/discussions/worst-expe...) because they know they can give the Rewards Plus easily but they are sending customers fake Yes First Preferred Pre-Approved LTF card messages so that they can apply & then they can change the card variant to something which is easiest to provide for them…

They will lure you by this Pre-Approved thing & then will ask you to complete all the normal procedure to get the card which you could do yourself directly on the official site/branch anyways…

If you have the account with the bank & getting pre-Approved offers from them directly only then you can get it easily…

These Deal4Loans & Wishfin are big time cheaters scammers…They are only good for checking CIBIL scores for free…They force customers to apply for shitty cards with lots of fake promises, specially Pre-Approved shit & extremely high limits in advance…If you really need a card & you don’t have a Pre-Approved offer from the bank, apply directly on the bank’s site or via branch…

IRCTC Rupay Platinum costs 500+GST Joining & 300+GST annual…I think you meant the joining fee as 500 & not 1500 ??

No, one more higher variant IRCTC SBI Visa card available.

Beware of this agent, he is trying to push you for an expensive ride.
There are 3 variants of irctc cc.
RuPay, visa Platinum and Visa signature.

Visa signature variant is worst of all sbi CCs. 1500 fee.

Rupay variant is best if anyone wants sbi cc for only offers or train bookings. First year free, 300 per annum.
If you apply through referral, you’ll receive 500rs amazon gv for irctc rupay cc.

For general online shopping simplyClick is best, specially amazon.

Yes. I got it cancelled. But that was different and this is different IRCTC card.

You gave your root password to them. They dont need any approval from you for checking cibil and offer a CC. Just accept the card and let them earn from you since you used their free service. You can not stop it.

Exactly. I got the sms stating that limit will be split in to two if not wish to proceed say no.. What will happen if say no whether they will cancel the application
