Stop buying Chinese company product

If you are buying any product from chinese company like MI, Oppo, etc. You are actually paying more contributions towards china economy. To give a rough idea when you buy an Iphone (>₹40000) that has been assembled in China then you are paying $6.5 USD to china’s economy but when you buy any chinese company mobile for the same price. You are paying way more to chinese evonomy.

Takeaway:

#1.Don’t go for the cheap chinese product as it leads to impulsive buying.
#2. Stop buying chinese company product like Mi or anyother.
#3. Start buying those product which are not made in china and if that’s not possible than consider buying those product which are being assembled in china and completely avoid chinese product based companies.

Start from now and start with small.

I would love to know your all thoughts on this.

Stay safe

Sorry man..thats dumb. So what if we can’t do a 100% boycott? But we need not buy all Chinese products with glee because “oh..the backbone of the Internet is Chinese!”. Start slow. Stop buying Chinese as much as you can and where and when alternatives are available. Even if some parts of a, say Samsung mobile, is made in China it is still way better than buying a mobile made by a 100% Chinese company. Made in India products will arrive over time when we realise the demand is there. But the demand needs to be created and displayed slowly.

consumer side demand is there but our manufacturers are not keen to make the things that won’t fetch them much money or has very limited amount of customers. For eg. Let’s say i need a fan splitter cable now no manufacturers of ours make them because due to low computer adoption ( yes it’s still low and not enough DIY guys ) even though it’s simple to make’em .. the demand is there worldwide but we need govt. support to export these like China do for their manufacturers .. If the small manufacturers gets enough support from govt. why would not they make them here ? It’s easier to boycott and use sub standard and lower quality product in the name of patriotism but tough to make a sustainable eco system for the small manufacturers .. If we ban all Chinese products no problem but will the govt. lower it taxes on products imported from other countries or compel us to use lower quality products .. The chance of second one is more and that will lead to license Raj type system once more.

Companies like Flipkart, Amazon India and others must stop promoting their products. We the customer must stop buying china products. Even if we get a little below standard product which is India made of if India is unable to make then we should purchase other country’s product but will not buy China made product.
Platforms in online shopping giant like Flipkart, Amazon India, Paytm Mall will must promote desi products.
It’s just my opinion (don’t take it otherwise)

A lot of people are living in a 100 or 0 world. It’s either..we want all Chinese or we don’t any Chinese. Boycott Chinese doesn’t mean throw away all your gadgets. Thats a dumb take. It means being conscious of what you are doing and searching for alternatives wherever you can. There’s a lot of numbers between 0 and 100.

Why would you fund your enemy? Are you that retarded or is your inferiority complex that big? I’m certainy not buying any Redmis or Realmes hereon. It’s going to be Samsung or Asus till a good desi alternative is here.

Charity begins at home bro.
We are using chinese products from several long years till then no one had any issue but as soon as that video got viral people are like BAN KARO BAN KARO. They get to buy products @ 1re and sell those for 20rs. Our policies with them should be revised. But now we are so much addicted to CHINA that we can either love them or hate them but can’t ignore them that’s the bitter truth. Everyone wants to be aatmanirbhar as Modiji said but again bolnese kuch nai hoga. He should eventually meet the ceo’s, top executives of all brands and mutually sit and decide so as to bring this into implementation. Also our FM should have proper vision and planning if they REALLY want to do the IMPOSSIBLE.
We lack in planning and implementation and we suffer badly as usual. This is how China rebelled to this news so it’s very tough but not impossible because IMPOSSIBLE itself says I AM POSSIBLE.

90% of electronic products, auto components you name whatever is made in China…Such is the reliance on commie China by the world..This notion should actually change. This means that banning or boycotting China made is not possible. What we as a nation can do is try to lure the same companies invested in China to pull out gradually and invest in India. Also to procure products we can go on with democratic Taiwan or partial democratic Hong Kong. This is the actual reality faced by us and the world.

I used to watch Shark Tank (few seasons) and realized most of price competitive products had a business model in which entrepreneurs assumed that they will manufacture in China/ Bangladesh for low costs. I guess its not just India trapped in Chinese claws, even Americans are stuck.

Stop buying new Chinese origin products. This will slow down their economy, and will get on tables to resolve all conflicts.
If you already have a product use it till end of its life. When you decide on buying anything new, avoid Chinese.
Government cannot directly interfere here due to trade policies. They have already blocked Chinese direct investments into India.

Deal Newbie Deal Newbie

Yes. You are right. We the consumers should have to stop to buy the chinese products. Flipkart/amazon/…etc should stop promoting the chinese products. Government should take initiative to inspire the desi products and investors also. Let’s all promote our desi products only!

Please approach the ayurveda way, the long term approach. We won’t treat the symptoms but the root cause of the problem.
1) Let’s start following law and order. At least all member of DD can do and set an example for other people.
2) Let’s start supporting local grocery walas
3) Let’s not purchase unnecessary items
4) Let’s limit our consumption of food. If we become healthy, we won’t be needing medicine and China is a big supplier of active ingredient. It is doable.
5) Let’s promote an habit to recycle things
6) Let’s start studying seriously. I am dead serious on this. Majority of the Indian students don’t study seriously and they have a very closed minds. Stupid parents encourage them to do stupid things in life and stupid coaching institutions feed of them. So, if we want to make good products, then we need skilled workers. And if those workers are consciously made in colleges, then they will find pleasure in doing things they love the most. Right! It is that simple. Simple things are often most difficult to implement. Otherwise we have to hire skilled foreign workers the way we do now.
7) Let’s not build a habit of cheating others and getting cheated. It is bad practice for business, life and for society.
8) Let’s give local entrepreneurs a chance.
9) Let’s give local cotton mills, weavers another chance
10) Farming should be treated as seriously as engineering. And experienced dimers must have known this fact that tree doesn’t grow in everyone’s hands. It might sound oxymoron but it is true.
And let’s give us 7-8 years of time. Well, I am typing this from a chinese laptop, a Lenovo. So, I am not going to balcony and throw off 7 stories below. It will cause pollution to environment, and I will not recommend this to anyone else.
Knowing one’s limit is the most crucial thing in life my friends.
Josh me ake hosh naa gawa do. Be strategic, calm and cool. Enemy wants us to react in an impulsive way. Sit down, think. Let’s just cut things China that can be bought from India as well.
If you want to ban us Phone, Laptop, Other electronics stuff then forget about this discussion. No Indian brand is making good above mentioned products in my knowledge. Let’s fight with a spirit of competitiveness. Otherwise, it will be like childhood days, when we used run to our parents if our best friends did something bad to us. Think about it coolly.
Answer to your question is no, we can’t ban promoting Chinese products here.
But we can give promotion to budding students, we can inspire them to be capable citizens. I do my bit as per my capability. I suggest you do it too.

Logic less way. We should immediately ban all Chinese product’s promotion/listing from Desidime.

Let’s not purchase unnecessary items → been advocating this before, but since it’s DD looters will loot.

Let me put arguably out greatest freedom fighter’s great words here →
We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. This is the divine mystery supreme. A wonderful thing it is and the source of our happiness. We need not wait to see what others do.

To put it simply → the only way we move forward as a nation, as humans, is if we give up our momentary greed for the greater good. Yes it applies to the most corrupt, the top 1% of us but also applies to everyone here equally. The only time we can ask someone to be honest is if we’re being honest ourselves, you just have to ask (oneself) how honest you are & some amount of positive change can then be brought forth, provided you act on it.

Guys,
I know it is very difficult to boycott the Chinese products. But we need to decrease our dependence on China. I also understand it’s difficult to boycott it but we should be ready to pay more to make in India. And help the indian brands to grow by sharing your feedback on their Products. If we are 50% dependent on Chinese  products try to reduce it slow and steadily . But just saying tht make in india products are not good will not help rather drop a mail to them and share your genuine feedback.
Let’s try to not buy any Chinese products on Flipkart and amazon if not necessary
