My experience: March 19, a transaction was made using SBI Virtual card at Paytm which failed. Paytm has confirmed that it hasn’t received the amount. Around 20 days since I complained to SBI, but haven’t heard from them even once!

I think you are referring to FREE transaction Limit. It depends on your Average balance, not the card type.

i have opened an account today with sbi. N asked for gold card(can be used internationally), but to my surprise, the lady said that u r ineligible for gold but applied for platinum, which s of even higher category !!
So, i wanted to clear all my doubts coz the lady cud not provide me the ans to my queries

And check other threads, you will get to know that there is no guarantee that these SBI INTERNATIONAL cards would work at those websites

There is no limit on POS transactions. You can do as much as you want. Be it Online or Offline. Limit is on Mobile Banking and Net Banking.I Myself have Exceeded Limit for POS Transactions and NO Fee was Levied. Banks Encourage POS transactions because they get commission in each transaction.

Making it clear… pos with debit card (physical) has no limits.
But those with Virtual cards are taken under internet banking
