Amazon Prime Lite and Shopping Edition to be Available to All on Prime Day Sale in India

Amazon Prime Membership’s cheaper alternatives i.e. Prime Lite and Prime Shopping Edition were launched around a year back as a beta version so was available to select Amazon users only. Now, with the Prime Day Sale 2024 upcoming on 20 and 21 July, Amazon India has announced that it will make available the Prime Lite and Prime Shopping Edition across all pin codes on 20 July, midnight.
Abhinav Agarwal, director and head of Amazon India Prime said, “In India, consumer needs vary widely. Some may not prioritize or have the means to pay for video or audio services. For those primarily interested in shopping, the shopping focused subscription acts as a gateway to enter the Prime ecosystem. We have seen some members transition from this subscription to our flagship Prime model, a decision influenced by the introduction of new content”

Prime Lite is priced at ₹799/year compared to ₹1499/year for a Prime membership. The only difference between the two is that Prime Lite gets you only 1 device access for Prime Video OTT compared to 5 devices. Besides, Prime Shopping Edition has the lowest subscription price of ₹399/year. It only includes shopping benefits like same-day/next day and free delivery.
Prime Lite and Prime Shopping Edition subscription plans will be open to all during the Amazon Prime Day Sale 2024. However, it is expected that even after the sale, these plans will be permanently available.

I am having Rs 250 as amazon prime voucher added in Amazon account , now I get Rs 1499 voucher and now want to buy annula subscription of prime membership by adding this 1499 voucher but now allowing to buy with error message that limit of 1499 will be exhausted. Is there any solution to buy prime membership with voucher of Rs 1499 ?

One question regarding kindle
If I buy 1499 membership will I be able to read paid kindle books?
I am not sure about echo pop. But I have a echo dot and I have set it up to play from apple music by default, you can set up other sources too like jio saavn/ gaana etc.
I think similar should be applicable to your echo POP.
I just want to extend my Prime Shopping Edition by +1 year before the Prime vouchers added to my account expire. But it doesn't look like Amazon allows extending or stacking Prime Shopping Edition yet
