Ipad 7 does not have bionic but has 3gb ram
Ipad 8 has bionic A12 bionic but 2gb ram.
So performace would almost be same. No need to upgade to ipad8 if u have ipad7

Just wanted to add.. iPad 8th gen is already available to order and iPad air is coming next month.. in the same timeframe of US. I must say Apple is giving priority this time.

Also guys.. iPad is way better than any other tablets, I have used best of both for quite some time, so know it perfectly.
